  Amazing Break in 'Farmhouse Wing'

  Just spent seven fabulous nights in Farmhouse Wing. Loved every minute of it! On arrival we were greeted with a delicious homemade cake. The cottage is cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped; couldnt ask for anymore. Located in beautiful surroundings, with great local pubs and places to visit we were never short of things to do. The cottage itself has a whole selection of information suggesting fabulous walks around the farm or local places to visit which is really handy. The local village of Malpas had all the supplies we needed; Huxleys was a must. Had marvellous walks at Peckforton Gap and along the Sandstone Trail. Loved staying on a working farm, lovely family, extremely friendly, more than happy to help with suggestions of great places to visit. Wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go back.

  Absolutely perfect in every way.

  Weve stayed on this farm for many years now and always have an absolutely fantastic time. Perfect location and Sally-Ann, Dave and family couldnt be more helpful. Perfect holiday in a perfect location.

  Cant recommend enough!

  20+ of us stayed at the lovely Millmoor Farm cottages whilst at a wedding nearby and it could not have been more perfect. Super modern furnishings and a rustic location make for a nice escape from the city, or a lovely space to bring family and friends together. Thanks so much Sally for such a great experience.

  Perfect weekend break

  Had a wonderful 4 days at Millmoor Farm, staying in the Farmhouse Wing cottage, perfect for our families pre xmas getaway. Cottage was cosy and despite being on a working farm it was still very peaceful. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the Victoria Sponge cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend this cottage, plus not far from Chester.

  A little disappointing

  Thought it would be luxury accommodation for the price we paid, for a weekend. We stayed in Millers cottage and it was very tired, although spacious. Holes in the ceiling, scratches and scuffs on furniture and dog poo on the garden around the cottage. On the plus side..lovely and warm and clean, cake provided for welcome and the actual farm experience was great for our grandson. However, the tractor toys , that are advertised, were mostly broken and tatty and the logs provided for the fire were too big to actually fit in the log burner! Definitely not luxury farm accomodation that was advertised
