  Awesome Place

  We stayed in the Huamoana house for 6 nights - what a wonderful location and brilliant accommodation. The hosts where fantastic and we really enjoyed staying and cant wait to go back. The living area is wonderful and the bedrooms very well set up. Amazing place and exceptional views.

  Extraordinary stay

  We fell in love with New Zealand and have visited every year for the last ten years. Each time our final accommodating has been 6 or 7 nights at Millar Road. It is the way we treat ourselves; the cherry on top. This year was different and in certain respects was the best visit yet. We arrived when the lockdown from COVID hit and our 6 nights turned into close to three weeks. What a great place to be! We stayed in Villa 1 and were capitaved by the ever changing view, by watching summer turn into autumn , by the birdsong in the morning. There is something almost spititual about this setting. But the most special aspect of our stay was the gracious hospitality we received. Our age indicated that we should stay put and Gregory shopped for groceries on our behalf every four days. Ginny baked a couple of cakes for us. They both called regularly to make sure we were okay. We were absolutely touched by their caring nature and will forever be grateful to them. Everything you read about the beauty of Millar Road is true. Beauty is more than skin deep.

  We wish we could stay longer!

  Walking in for the first time we knew we had found somewhere special. Accomodation top notch. Nights next to a roaring fire. Days enjoying expansive views. Right on the doorstep of vineyards, cycle routes and best that Hawkes Bay has to offer. A home away from home. Lovely 3 night get away. We will be back!

  Great place for a special family occasion

  We had a great weekend at this beautiful place. The setting looking over the vineyard and bay beyond is amazing! Our group took over the whole place and made good use of the real fire in the evenings which was homely. We didn't do any sightseeing other than a walk around the vineyard as the main point was to catch up with extended family. There was plenty of information around should we have wanted to do so though. The wine was great too! The children even tried the pool despite the cool temperatures.

  Perfect stay in one of the villas

  Gregory and team - thank you for your warm and friendly welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in villa 2. Everything was to our liking, decor, setup, beautiful breakfast, coffee and stunning views. The fire place is an added bonus for those cooler nights. All villas have their privacy. If you love nature, sunsets and beautiful country side, you would love this place. Hope to visit again soon. There are outdoor seating, bbq, dvds, books, fireplace and a bath. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your surrounds. We can't wait to come and stay longer in one of your villas. Great find!
