  Hard beds, more expensive for foreigners (falang), friendly personnel.

  Mido hotel is what you expect from a hotel. It is clean, you can sleep undisturbed and there is a good breakfast to start the new day with. The beds have a hard mattress. I slept well on it though. When one is not used to this, avoid this hotel. It disturbes me that foreigners have to pay almost twice as much as Thai people. (My Thai family also had a room.) I know it is not uncommon in Thailand, but I am still uncomfortable with that. The WiFi signal was pour: many disconnects. So I think this hotel could be perfect for Thai people. The discrimination in prices makes me rate the hotel low. One point for the personnel, though.

  Ok Room for an Avg Price

  The best was friendly staff and the inclusion of a decent buffet breakfast. Other wise the Restaurant is fairly pricey. Especially when you do not have to go far to find good food at a fair price. As for the room, little dated but clean with comfortable bed. Wifi not so strong with interruptions. Perhaps not totally romantic but at night there was an appeal to the city view. It is also not too far from the Don Mung (old) airport if you are taking a flight.

  Reasonable value stay

  Room was clean and spacious, if a little dated.Staff were friendly and food in the restaurant was good, although the accompanying evening entertainment was deafening. Large beds which provided a good night's sleep, but mattresses may be a little hard for some western tastes.

  Friendly staff

  I stay one night Air is too hot look like air is not work . Rest is ok . I got nice room I can look nice view Staff are so friendly . Great and delusions food . Super market is around . Bit far from city . If you work 20 minutes you can get to sky train .......

  Affordable

  Been to this hotel - - - - affordable, professional staff, clean hotel. The room is clean and have complete bathroom amenities you needed for the stay. Also ordered my favorite drink - - - pina colada (mix of pineapple, coconut, ginger juice and honey), may not be the best pina colada I ever tasted but still delicious. Plus the fact that they served it in the room after we listened to the band for the minute, the service is good. Thank you Mido Hotel!
