  Poor Breakfast

  Staying only 1 nite for checkin late . Room is clean and spacious without fridge. Breakfast is so poor and terrible. Staffs at restaurant are interested in typing mobile not caring to guests and keeping talking together.

  Never come here again

  Booked this hotel via hotels.com. Travel from KL to Segamat and back to Melaka for a night stay. Booked 2 rooms. Checkin was slow. Front desk managed by 1person. He took up 3 calls for room enquiries during my checkin. Went up the room and found one of the room keycard does not allowed to access. Went down to reception and the keycard was reprogram. Still the keycard does not work and finally the front desk went up to the room together. Inserting the keycard managed to open the door, suddenly heard vrooming sound from some fan. Unpleasant checkin. Given another room it was ok but later found a 4ft cracked on the mirror was not rectified. On another room, we flip over the bed lining/deco found a big burnt hole underneath. Then later found bath towel and floor mat is not at its place. Made a complaint to their management and their reply was "its agreed the hotel fault but customer also have to understand it is peak period, so many things may have went wrong". However, one thing I am very sure is the room rate has alao went up during peak period. Decide to stay or not is up to you..but for me is NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

  Very dirty hotel

  I was told the breakfast opens at 6. We went to their cafeteria at 733. I was told the foods were not ready yet. WTF! The room was super dirty, bathroom was stinky and human hair everywhere....ants were crawling on the wall, table, and they even got into my bag and clothes. They hotel caused a major nightmare of my trip....

  Can do better

  This place is quite new. Located in the heart of Melaka City Banda Hilir. Pros : - Its still new. - Perfect location just 20 minutes walking to the city center and historical places - Aircond and hot water works well - The room was quite spacious Cons : - Housekeeping was horrible. Check in at 7.00PM with very few guests during that night but the room looks like it wasnt properly cleaned. There was previous guests scarf and hijab in the drawer. - The room wasnt really clean - Towels seems like years never changed - torn and dirty - Pillows were as bad as no star hotels. Sleep quality was bad. In conclusion, Id avoid this hotel if they offer more than RM100 per night. Ive been to hotel with no star and the rate of RM60 way better than this. i dont know tho, but for me most hotels in Melaka are trash. Mostly pricy with nothing to offer.

  Uncomfortable room

  Exactly today, i'm writing in the same room in Midcity Hotel Melaka. We came here for a short getaway. We book a total of 4 rooms. 1 rooms was basically okay. 1 room which is a deluxe twins, when my nephews switch on the toilet light, the fans making a scary sound as a ghost assessing. Another room, the light suddenly off and on unknownly. The other room, a junior suite, both bed single and queen bed "in dirt" on the bedsheet. The TV channel is basically limited. We called their reception. The receptionist came up to change a new bedsheet but eventually the bedsheet also not clean. She told us that they don't not enough staff. And their housekeeper end work at 6pm. What a funny hotel. I don't understand how the management handle and schedule their staff. Rather than you don't have enough staff and you give your guest this kind of service, might as well you close the hotel on festive season right? Very disappointed. Very unpleasant. Unrecommended.
