  good for a night's stay near don muang airport

  well maintained hotel just 10 mins by taxi from don muang airport. i checked in at around 1am and was provided the room in no time. staff helped me with the bags. moderately sized good, clean functional rooms. i did not opt for breakfast but could buy breakfast stuff from the 7/11 store situated less than 100 meters from the hotel. they have 2 complimentary shuttle to the airport, one in the morning and the second one at 10.30am although i didnt opt for the same.

  Good for the airport

  Good clean hotel with decent size rooms, wi-fi strength good.10 mins from the airport, difficult to find as most Thai taxis dont know how to read gps and the address is not correct in the online booking map provided. Breakfast is very average, gym is small but enough, the pool is quite nice also,unless you have transport arranged this is some way from the nearest BTS and traffic is crazy for most of the day so beware of that if on tight time frame.

  LOCATION - this hotel is about 15 min from airport. Its in a traffic prone area so anywhere takes 45 min-1 hr so be mindful. No train near by except for a commuter train which doesnt seem to really bring you into the city. Small supermarket, 7-11 and pharmacy in walking distance. Taxis dont seem to know where this hotel is and it was very difficult to get around. Theres a local mall (IT Square) about 10 min walking which has a good food court area, supermarket, pharmacies, etc. ROOM - Room was large but worn out. SAFE provided but it was old style. BED was too hard for my taste. TV was non existent with lots of snow (had to wiggle the cable to get anything) and a few local channels (none in English). BATHROOM was ok. Had shampoo, shower gel and soap but no toothbrush. Water pressure was ok. Hot water was always available. BREAKFAST - its more local but youll find some continental stuff like cereal, bread and waffles. Not much around the area so it was still a good thing to have. POOL - small but still enjoyable. Lounge beds and chairs available. Pool towels were provided too. GYM - gym was small but seemed adequate. SHUTTLE - theres a free shuttle going to the airport twice a day 1030am and 130pm. WHAT I DIDNT LIKE - We came in pretty late and found the safe not working and the TV just showing lots of snow. The bellman was helpful and got it all fixed. I had to put a tissue box to secure cable to the wall so channels would be watchable. The room comes with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 1 floor mat - everything was replenished on the 2nd day except the floor mat. The following day, floor mat was back but no hand towels - in fact used hand towels were left beside the toilet. Sheets were not replaced until I asked too. Housekeeping seems to be quite understaffed. Shower had some mold. By our 2nd night, a group of very loud tourists came. They would shout in the hallways and leave their room doors open. Woke me up at 4am. The front desk or security couldnt seem to do anything about it. They just made excuses that they were from a certain country known for being loud.

  Close to DMK Airport value for money

  Best way to get to hotel is take metered taxi from Airport parking.. Very good system. Taxis and passenger line up and the parking staff gives token.. No extra charges just pay as per meter. So if you are arrival is at odd time. This is best option. Pool is very good. Breakfast spread is not upto mark.. You can have breakfast in adjoin road which is full of food joints. Keep you Google map on to look for this hotel as many taxi driver do not know this.

  Good hotel near Don Mueang

  I stayed at the Mida Hotel Don Mueang Airport for one night in October 2019. I was flying out of Don Mueang the next day, so I just needed a place close to the airport. I must say that I was positively surprised by the overall quality of the hotel. The staff was friendly, not all spoke English, but even so, they were smiling and eager to help with everything. The room was clean and modern, and had the basic amenities available, refrigerator, coffee, tea etc. I went for the buffet the following day at lunch time, and there was a big selection of delicious dishes, fruit, salad and ice cream. Price was 450 baht (approx 15 USD) but absolutely worth it. The hotel also has a really nice pool area with cushions and sunbathing chairs. Furthermore it has a small gym as well. Location is obviously not very central, as the hotel is meant for people in and out of Don Mueang airport, but still has a food market, some bars and a 7/11 next to the hotel. I paid around 1500 baht (50 USD) for one night in a double room. All in all a nice experience, good service and facilities, and I would absolutely stay there again should I travel through Don Mueang airport again.
