  Fine for a Microtel

  Microtel can be a hit or miss. This one is a good choice overall. Great sleep quality, room show some wear, but are acceptable. Good location along the Interst6, though that does contribute some noise.

  Can hear through the ceiling

  If you like a quiet hotel, you may want to choose another. I could hear the footsteps from the room above me, which was just constant for a few hours. Overall the property was conveniently located, but like most, had no semblance of a breakfast. Service was friendly enough.

  Very nice for the price

  Good experience and great price. Room was very clean and the room was nice but small. For the price is was overall a good experience. Hotel staff could have been a bit more friendly, they didn't do anything wrong but a smile would be nice

  Reasonable rate for a reasonable room

  Overall, a good experience. I did actually pull on the bathroom doorknob and it fell off. Also, there was about 20-30 minutes of noise on the third floor, people running around, doors slamming. But, management was courteous, the place was clean and the price was reasonable.

  Stay if its your last resort

  This was rated highly on Booking.com, but we were really disappointed. We needed a halfway point to stop from South Padre Island and Denver. Due to some tournament in town, this was the only somewhat highly rated hotel left. It was clean and looked somewhat maintained. Front desk woman had a mask, below her nose, and hotel guests were not wearing them. Our room was clean and had enough space for two adults and two kids. Our main problem with this property was how loud it was. Guests were up until about 12:30 am, then at 3:30 am the staff were dragging chairs and tables around on the tile floor and talking really loudly. My husband was asleep so I didnt want to call the front desk and wake him up, and my daughter was too afraid for me to leave the room. Then around 6:00 am the noise started up again. When I approached the woman at checkout, she said I should have called and done something about it. Not very empathetic. There were no blankets on the beds, so it was fairly cold sleeping. You cant charge food/drinks to the room and they wont accept credit cards for such items. The purpose of our stay was for much needed sleep for the long days drive ahead, which we did not get. We will not stay here on our future trips. Pretty disappointed in Wyndham for sponsoring this property.
