  Nice hotel RUDE front desk clerk

  I have stayed multiple times at this location for business and the clerks are some of the rudest most unhappy people. If they dont like their jobs move on. The rooms are decent breakfast a joke. I will stay somewhere else from now on.

  Felt very unsafe/ People in halls high with drugs / lack of security / nonsmoking rooms was very smokey

  I could write three pages about our bad experience here. I will summarize saying we had a group of about 15 people and none of us felt safe there. The hotel and parking lot lacked security. People on drugs were allowed on the property (front desk told me that they were staying there but she did not know which room). People on drugs offered us some and even followed us inside the hotel. They remained in common areas and halls. We were there with a sports team and planned to stay four nights. The entire group checked out after one night. I requested for a manager to contact me. No one did. After waiting four days, I called again and spoke with Tammy. It was my goal to share my experience without posting a negative review. I hoped they would hear me and make corrections so others did not have to feel unsafe. Sadly, Tammy made no apology for the experience and refused to refund bc I agreed to stay there. She chided me for staying there if we felt unsafe. I explained we drove over seven hours to get there and it was getting dark upon arrival. Since we had an entire team and we were not from Louisiana, we needed a little time to make a new plan for where to stay.

  Microtel on Ambassador Caffery. The WORST!!

  Tried to make a reservation night before scheduled stay, was transferred to their central reservation department. Reservation clerk accidentally made reservation at a different hotel. She placed me on hold for over 30 minutes (I took a screen shot of that call) while trying to fix the issue. In the meantime, I 3-way called the original hotel and merged the call so the front desk receptionist could hear the hold music and explain the situation to her. She was extremely rude and raised her voice while making my reservation. Original price through reservation was $47 with rewards. Hotel is charging me $74 because they cannot apply my rewards that THEY OFFERED I SIGN UP FOR because they cannot see it and I must only go through reservations in order to use it. Worst part about this stay, there was a diluted red/orange stain in the middle of the bed sheet. I threw a towel over the area and tried my best to forget about it. The next morning, there was a roach on my bed when I returned to it from the bathroom. I showed the video of the roach to the front desk receptionist who just happens to be the SAME person I checked in with the day before, she ignored it and said the manager, would call. I also tried to get clarification of the charges. She said she didnt know what I didnt understand. $47 to $74? I reserved a king bed and was placed in a filthy FILTHY suite...with a 10% discount. She placed me in that room because there were no other rooms available, to which she did not tell me during reservations. I asked her why didnt she ask if it was ok with me. She said she looked in my history and saw I once stayed in a suite. Umm thanks? Needless to say, Im still waiting for that call from management.

  Overall Good

  Overall a good deal but the 'non-smoking' room was placed in between smoking rooms so the room smelled of smoke. There was no freezer in the room and no way to get drinking water. But beds were comfy and clean and the AC worked

  Very bad place

  I arrived at two in the morning I entered the room and the air conditioning was broken I reported it and they told me there was no more room . the room very dirty horrible . very bad response to a problem
