  This Motel is a Lost Cause

  Where do we begin? Smelly rooms, rude attitude, improperly using the "Corona virus scare" to shut down entire second and third floors, putting the guests even MORE at risk by crowding everyone in together, I am OUTRAGED at this subpar treatment here. Shame on Wyndham Corp.- this place sucks and does not even come close to measuring up. Never Again! This is a dirty, Patel from Bombay run property. Go somewhere else. Seriously.

  not as good as expected.

  This property is nor aging gracefully. The exterior looks good until you see worn parking lot. The proprietor is cutting every corner he can, no a/c in the lobby and hallways, no breakfast at all and we even had to go to the front desk for an ice bucket liner which he brought out without asking what we needed, without a mask and bare handed. The room was clean but tired. Texture was peeling off the ceiling and the shower head was stuck on "blast you out" jet spray. Overall it was a disappointing Microtel experience. Full disclosure, we used our Wyndham points for the stay so it could be said we got what e paid for otherwise it would not be up to the standards we expect from a Microtel.

  Microtel, Macro Issues.

  on Oct.17, 2020 i drove down to Kansas City to attend my first Nascar race. i bought my lone ticket thru Events Tickets and a Priceline popup showed me a motel deal, so after looking it over i booked a room for Saturday night. the outside appeared fine, the lobby looked okay, i registered, took the elevator to the 3rd floor and walked the hallway to room 330. it looked okay, i unpacked and took a shower. i noticed the bathroom faucet dripping, but i let it slide. i turned on the 48'' tv and noticed dust on top of it, but i wasn't happy about that. i had a king sized bed, felt good and an 8' long flourescent light above the headboard for reading, but it didn't work. so after all of these issues i'm not recommending this place to all of you fellow travelers. i noticed that the airport shuttle wasn't offered because of covid 19. and the room next to mine had the tv on loud as it woke me up at 2 a.m. so buyers beware.

  Overnight by the airport

  We booked a night here for an early flight the next morning. The hotel left a lot to be desired. The desk clerk was crabby and his English was almost impossible to understand. The shuttle was cancelled, breakfast was cancelled, the elevator tile was peeling up. I will not stay there again.

  Numerous minor issues

  Shuttle down "due to covid", but other local properties had theirs running. No inroom coffee, lobby machine not working, no one around to report it to. No breakfast "due to Covid", other properties offer a prepackaged bag option. Thin walls, at least couple next door had similar time concepts as i do. Heat in room not adjustable, cool but liveable. Light over bed didn't work, but i didn't need to read that night. BUT i could sleep on a comfortable bed with locked door and secure walls and ceiling and running water. Desk clerks courteous - when available.
