  Good Service and Excellent Food

  We recently stayed here for six nights as part of a Tour Group from Great Rail Journeys. Although a little way from town centre the hotel was very clean with staff who were always happy to serve its residents. The buffet breakfast was plentiful ,full of choice and coffee and tea were good. On the evenings we ate in the hotel the food was always excellent. The wine and other drinks were reasonably priced. Worth a revisit if we are in the area again.

  Wonderful experience

  Lovely hotel, very pleasant accommodating staff, extremely clean Food amazing, didn't have the same thing over 7 nights. Very comfortable, slightly out of town but offer a mini bus transfer. Air conditioned rooms with balconies, fridge and hair dryers

  Superb grounds, rooms and location

  Where to start? The rooms, overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds, have every convenience. Very quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lobby is spacious, with many sitting areas. Tennis court, bocci, and pool. It is the closest hotel to the terme (spa) -- walking distance -- and yet not near any noise. I recommend eating only breakfast in the hotel, not the other meals. You can do better in a restaurant. At this time, the wi-fi is only in the lobby or on the grounds, but they are so beautiful it is not inconvenient. The staff is extremely helpful.

  Above the rest

  This hotel is situated high on the side of a hill and overlooks the town. Across the valley is the Old Town which, I am told, is over an hour's walk away. But fear not, there is a road train (called the Chianciano Express) which operates a 'hop on/hop off' service, the nearest station being a twenty minute walk downhill from the hotel to the Piazza Italia in the New Town. Note: be aware of the walk back!. Like 'Peter P', we were on a Great Rail Journeys stay at this hotel in late September (2016). It is, as he says, remote from the town although the hotel does provide a courtesy bus service. The staff were great and were kept very busy both in front of and behind the scenes. Our three course meals were preceded by a salad buffet with an excellent choice and concluded with tea or coffee. By the way, Wi-fi is available also in the bedrooms now.

  Good service and stunning views

  This hotel is located very high up on a hill in the hilly Toscana. The views from the balcony was amazing and you litterary could see for miles. Nice rooms but in spite of claiming they had, the WiFi was not working in the rooms. Tidy and clean room and a nice lobby bar. Restaurant offered a really good dinner but the breakfast was just slight acceptable. To be recommended anyway and so many wonderful small towns in the nearby area, including Montepulciano wish is a town that cannot be missed.
