  Adequate

  Staff is friendly, room is a bit cramped and quite damp and humid. Many restaurants around the area to choose from, very convenient. Wifi was not the best and the rooms could use some upgrade. A good but not great experience.

  Hotel is located near the old street and other attractions that are within walking distance. About half an hour from the airport by car, can just take the taxi located outside the airport if there's no hotel pick up. Overall, good stay.

  Good Services with great value!!!

  I booked this hotel three weeks before arriving to Taiwan, and I was worried about the shuttle services between the airport to the hotel. Actually my worry was unnecessary, you can just send the hotel your arrival information, and they will provide you the detail instruction for the free pick up services. The customer service is excellent, and the room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is amazing (we always arrive an hour before the closing time, and some foods are already cold) The location of the hotel is right at the center, and you can rent a car or scooter next door. You also can walk to the old district within 10 minutes. Only thing is that I got bitten by the little black flies sitting at the lobby, so you should avoid that area.

  A bit dated but mostly well-run hotel

  Centrally located, this hotel is ideal for walking to most places in Magong. Staff were very helpful and spoke some English. The decor is rather dated, but the place is well maintained overall. Our friends in a 2nd room had problems with cigarette smoke coming through the air con (a common issue in Taiwan hotels). And for a tall person, the beds are very short. We didn't do breakfast at the hotel but there are plenty of options around. The hotel is not far from the "old street" area which is worth seeking out.

  all good except breakfast

  they have their own booth in the magong airport. we arrived around 8am and we signed up for the free shuttle in advance. there was no attendant in the booth. i realized that the attendant and the driver are one and the same person. so he goes back and forth and might not be on their booth. we left our luggage with him and hopped on the northern tour taiwan tourism bus (ask visitor information center) as we dont know how to ride gas scooters. apparently with gas scooters you need a valid license, and with electric ones you dont need one. the location is a three minute walk from the famous shopping area and old street. the room seems newly renovated and was adequate. the front desk people were very nice. on the first day we were early for breakfast. no ketchup. on the second day i came down the last hour of opening and there isnt much food left. and still no ketchup. i wonder how hard buying a ketchup would be.
