  Economy excellent accommodation in Metula

  This is not a luxury hotel, but is very modern and perfectly furnished. Rooms are basic, but confortable. The bed was very good. Varied and fresh, but not luxurious breakfast. The rooms were soundproof .

  They ruin my days at the north.

  Was happly heading Metula when a get a pone call from the hotel. They tell me that I was the only guest that day and that therefo the hotel would close to give rest to their staff and offered me what they called an upgrade at a hotel "very near by" I understood and agreed with no problem. Once in Metula I wize the adres for the new hotel they had booked me in, as they had closed the one I had a reservation in, but my surprise come when I realice that this new hotel was 15 miles away from Metula!! In a completely different part, in a sort of camping in the middle of nowhere, without even a restaurant to have lunch. Now, if someone wants to spend the night in Tel Aviv and the hotel upgrades him to a better room in Jerusalem well, that´s not a piiip upgrade, is it? But is not finished yet. I obviously decline to stay in that one the had sent me, but never gave me the money back. So: they close the hotel as I am the only guest of the day. They send me to a different town (it wasn´t even that, there was NOTHING 10 km around). And then, when I say I´m not staying and going to Metula, as I was at the begining, they still chaged me the full amount. Thanks a lot, Metula Travel Hotel. You really rock!!!

  Simple, clean and functional

  This is a very straight forward, as advertised hotel. Expect nothing lavish but it is a great base for touring the northern end of the Galilee with a wonderful breakfast buffet, clean ensuite rooms and very helpful staff. It is located a few hundred meters from the Lebanese border and the view from the dining room window is really nice.

  A simple but very suitable hotel for travelers in the area

  Small rooms with air conditioner refrigerator, electric kettle and good quality bed, no closet or clothes hanging room, shower with excellent hot water. Breakfast was of a very good standard with a large selection of cheese salads and hot and fresh breads. Must note to Ilan and Moshe for excellent service at the front desk and help with any problem or question.

  Highly recommended!!!

  The hotel is located in the main Street of Metula. The staff was kind and lovely. The room was clean and had a great view. Breakfast had everything we expected. The terrace is perfect to sit, relax and enjoy the silence. Top value for money!
