  Basic traveller lodging

  Average business traveller low rise hotel. Quite roomy, fairly clean, king size bed, basic amenities, 3in1 coffee and tea provided. Only 1 English news and movie channel. Pros: it is literally beside Wanda plaza (I roamed around after work coz nothing to do in the hotel), shops are mostly chinese brand except for Uniqlo. Many chinese restaurants within the vicinity and in the mall, at least 1 korean resto, western fastfood (mcdonald's, kfc, pizzahut), starbucks and supermarket. Cons: Don't stay in a room facing the kiddie carousel play area, music is playing LOUDLY until 9 or 10pm (mall closing hour) Breakfast is NOT FREE, you have to pay RMB 48.00 (approximate) per day. MOSQUITOS in room as hotel is situated beside water canal.

  Jinjiang Hospitality at it's best

  Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel Keqiao was the perfect choice for my long stay in China during August-September,2017 The most interesting thing was the Social Time for a couple of hours in the hotel lobby, where there was tea, coffee, cookies and fruit available for the guests. This was very welcome, especially on the days I got back tired from a busy day of work and travelling around Keqiao and the neighbouring counties. Overall the entire hotel and rooms were pretty decent and clean, though the interiors would need a revamp very soon. The staff was very helpful and assisted in making my stay as comfortable as possible.

  Satisfactory probably could have and should have been better

  I had a group of us staying 5 rooms, for a local project staying 5 nights. The location is excellent but has no kerb side access which means dragging your luggage onto and across the plaza or road, difficult at night or raining. The building it self is very old and run down but has obviously had a refurb in the past 5 or so years to a Metropolo standard. That standard could and should be lifted. That said the place offered good sleep quality. Breakfast was better than some Chinese Hotels. For this price it was very good value. I am never one to ever say, that no English is spoken and is never a complaint of mine, half the enjoyment of travelling, however I booked all of the rooms through booking.com had all the printed bookings etc but yet the reception could not find the booking and had no interest is trying to help. Eventually after the miraculous and instant ability of my check in clerk to speak English !!! Yes it was miraculous and equally instant, they finally found our booking and after 40 mins found all the bookings,. What on earth the game plan was I have no idea. Anyway I would probably stay again as the local shopping plaza Wanda Plaza had a very good selection of eating places and was an easy place to navigate around Shoaxing.
