    Good family hotel

This was our fourth stop on our family vacation. We noticed a lot of families with young kids. The pool looked very nice. The hotel is right across the street from the Adriatic sea on the main strip. Rooms were quite big, and very clean. The only negative, is a train right behind the hotel going by at rather fast speeds, and on a regular frequency. We only stayed overnight as we were visiting family in Le Marche. Staff was polite, and easy to deal with.

    Perfect for young families

We stayed at the Metropol in mid July with our 4 year old. It was immediately welcoming, and very clean. Our room wasn't huge with the third bed set up but that wasn't a problem - we were hardly in it anyway. It's true that the train track runs right past the back of the hotel, but with the windows shut, shutters down and air con on at night we didn't notice a thing. The pool area is lovely and super clean - there's a big pool, a toddler pool and a jacuzzi. Only niggle is that there wasn't a loo in the pool area - would have been handy for kids. Almost every family appeared to have some children under the age of 12 but the place never felt too crazy or over run with unruly small people - it was pretty peaceful. The beach is right over the road and is one of those beaches where you can walk out some way and still only be up to your knees - perfect for little ones. The food was big! Lovely food, charming restaurant staff - but so much food! Meals are at fixed times so our 4 year old ate much later than usual but you have to go with the Italian flow and it kind of all works out. We'd definitely recommend this place for families.

It is paradise for families with kids

There are just few 4* hotels in Senigallia and Metropol is one of them. Perfect seaside location very friendly English speaking staff, free parking and small but nicely decorated rooms. Very nice and large swimming pool, kids pool and big massage pool. Breakfast is modest, but as only Italians were staying in this hotel except us its probably fine for them. We enjoyed our stay there.

    Pleasant place to stay

The hotel is situated opposite the beach. It was end of season when we went there so the area was not that busy as it is in the high season. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are adequate and are daily cleaned to a very good standard. There is a lovely swimming pool , a kiddies pool and jaccuzzi, and plenty of sunloungers, There is a bar and the barman does bring your drinks to you although sometimes there was quite a wait. The breakfast was adequate but not substancial, only on the last day when we went early, there was some bacon, never saw that the other days when we went later. One minor drawback is the railway line that runs around the back of the hotel, can get quite noisy though you do get used to it after a while \overall a nice stay.
