  Everything was amazing. I always enjoy my stay at merwerhuis... pitty Hans is not well but I pray for healing. Everything was good including the food, well their food is always amazing From the Breakfast selection to the special dinner. Thank you Merwerhuis for making me feel at home, always

  Our home away from home!

  This is our 3rd time staying at Merwehuis and each time has been a joy! Hans & Gerda are always the most gracious hosts and makes our stay there wonderful. We will always stay at this B&B and recommend it highly!

  Best Bed and Breakfast in town

  The atmosphere and the welcome is on point. The place is secure and your vehicle is safely parked in a garage. Safety is the most important aspect to consider when visiting Johannesburg. Breakfast is on time and the menu is abundant. The location allows you to access the shopping centers within minutes.

  Historical and cozy but a bit too far...

  The property has a very welcoming atmosphere, I felt like being at grandma's. The manager/owner and staff were nice and available, ready to help. Just the location, despite a nice residencial neighborhood, turned to be a bit too far from the main attractions in town, for me, travelling alone.
