  Great location, functional room for road warriors

  This hotel was selected because we were attending an exhibition in Stuttgart. Located in the town of Filderstadt, it is only one local stop away from Stuttgart airport and the Stuttgart exhibition estate. The walk from the hotel to Filderstadt station takes less than five minutes. I found my room to be functional with a nice working table and a very good WI-FI connection. In the evenings, there is a short walk to the town centre with a nice restaurant and a beer garden. I had forgotten my jacket in my room and the lady running the hotel immediately mailed it to me by post. This is a hotel with personalised service.

  Poor customer service

  Reserved room and cancelled 5 days before. Glitch in the cancellation and hotel charged $352 for the 1st night. Their website says they charge 50% fee of 1st day for no-shows. They charged full price and they would not return calls or emails to correct. Disputed charge through credit card company and the hotel was still non-responsive.

  Very clean and basic room and not far from airport

  We chose to stay here for easy access to the airport. The family room we had was in the basement but has a window. WIFI log in was complicated and kept off. The room itself is big and clean. The reception lady was friendly. There is parking right in the front and hotel front door is secured locked. Expect to walk a bit for restaurants and shops.

  Myself and Wife of 32 years

  On a quick visit to the Marriott Beach resort just outside of Patong (previously known as Merlin Beach) which we had previously stayed at; once our visit had concluded we attempted to return only to discover that ALL the Taxi drivers opposite the resort wanted TRIPLE the fare to return!! Any attempt to use arriving drivers was met with refusal! We had to walk up the (steep) hill to find a reasonable fare!! BE AWARE!! Also be watchful of staff at 7/11 opposite main entrance of Merlin Patong;they seem quite fond of short changing you so best to request a receipt. Otherwise still a good place to be!

  Fine orange beddign

  A nice hotel near the Stuttgart airport. First time we had a hotel, who had not white sheets and towels. It was good thing. We had compact room for three. Owner was friendly and she spoke German. The hotel is situated near a lively road.
