  Free Shuttle Service is only a lip service

  It is not free shuttle service at all as written on your beautiful expensive brochure... when i asked to your receptionist many reasons given, each person with each reason and they were not at the same page . . It seems a small matter but when it came to a responsibility, as big brand as accor, who should take in charge? . I asked to Ms. Selviana, the front desk staff, but the explanation was not professionals as expected and it made me upset.

  Nice hotel

  The hotel is located at the seafront a bit outside of the centre. It has an agreeable swimming pool. Polite helpful staff. Rooms are very big, nicely decorated. Room service for food and drinks very good. Bathroom works. Maybe the pressure of water for the shower could be harder. But that's a minor issue. On the whole: very pleasant.

  Amazing hotel

  I always stay at mercure palu when I come here. This time I stay for 3 days. The room is clean and spacious. Since I am an accor member. I got free upgrade room and welcoming cake. All the staffs were friendly. Breakfast has many variations and so good. I will come back later

  Good choice

  Nice room, affordable price and clean room. Have good beach view. The breakfast food was good and tasty.I've been stay at mercure hotel for 4 days. The wifi isn't good enough, the speed was slow, they need increase the bandwith.

  Aspirations of luxury, but poorly maintained

  As with other hotels under the Mercure brand, Mercure Palu is intended as a semi-luxurious hotel for business travellers, state officials, and other reasonably well to do people. The room, at least in its decor, certainly meets that expectation. The pillows are nice and soft, the bedsheets are clean, and the views are quite stunning. The food, although nothing special, is still of good quality and taste. Sadly, I still have to give the hotel three stars. First of all, the walls are quite thin, such that I was awoken at 5:30 a.m. by the person next door showering. There were also noises coming through from various directions, which disturbed me as I was developing the pictures from the conference I attended. Second, the fitness center was undermaintained and understaffed. I have been on a diet and exercise program since January, and thus availed myself to their fitness center three times. On none of these occasions was the room staffed, and there was no telephone available to reach the receptionist in case of problems. And I had problems. The first was minor; a screw seemed to have fallen out of the all-in-one workout station they had set up, and thus I had to call maintenance ... by walking into the hotel, through the restaurant, to talk to the receptionist. On the second occasion, the motor on the treadmill I was using burned out (quite literally; there was the stench of something burning), and again I had to walk to the receptionist and ask for maintenance to be sent over. On both occasions, the maintenance staff seemed to not be aware that they needed to use a key to access the room.
