  Ripped off stay away from here weekends

  Stay away from here on Saturday night. We have paid $220 for a room and all we can hear 15 mtrs away is a incredibly loud music, its that loud I feel we are trying to sleep in a nightclub. Not even the TV can drown it out. I cant believe they know this yet dont tell you about it when you book. I am so cranky I have to put up with this until midnight. Last time I waste my hard earned money staying here. Lucky this page wont let you use swear words because there would be a lot dotted through this post.

  Really nice staff and a spotless room.

  We found all the staff were very helpful, but I guess that's the difference in a Country Town. From the outside the premises looked a little like an old Travelodge but the room we had was very nice. The bathroom was roomy, two people could actually walk in there. The bed was large and the linen crisp. They TV was large and showed warts and all. There were tea and coffee supplied although no instructions how to operate the coffee machine. Only down side was there was not enough natural light and there were no draws for our clothes. We stayed for 3 nights and had to keep putting things into our suitcases. The premises is adjoined to the local RSL which has just gone through a major renovation. What surprised me was that the drinks were actually cheaper at one of the local hotels. There is a small air conditioned gym with basically brand new equipment. Take your own music as there is no music or TV in the gym. Would I stay there again, definitely.

  Weekend Stay

  Our room was modern and reasonably well equipped. The free internet kept logging us out and was a bit frustrating to use. We were in a Twin room close to reception, the noise from the adjacent club made it very difficult to get any sleep until after midnight. Would be very reluctant to stay here again on a Friday or Saturday night again for this reason.

  Ask for a ground level room

  As a couple of seniors we arrived at this motel around 4.30pm. My husband went to check in and I noticed there were many stairs and rooms on a first level and hoped we were being allocated one on ground level. Unfortunately not. My husband and I unpacked the car of 3 suit cases and 4 other bags. He went to park the car and I waited in the downstairs waiting area with our bags in full view of the reception staff. We then struggled with our bags on multiple trips to our room on the first floor. At no time did the Reception staff acknowledge us or advise us that there was a lift we could use. We found the lift the next day after we had packed our car using the stairs again. We also noticed that other guest were also using the stairs when they could have used this lift. I am taking the time to write this because I think management should educate their staff as this is a serious safety issue for all concerned.

  Nice accommodation

  Arrived and was greeted by friendly staff who were helpful and efficient. Parked in the ample car parking and got settled in my room. Room is well appointed, I had a comfy (newish) bed and great pillows. Great 1 night stay, will be back.
