  Perfect for a long Getaway

  Booking experience was very good, all thanks to Subhodeep Ghosh who made it simple for us and was always available to speak to us. The location is perfect for a longer getaway and healthy environment. Every room has a spectacular view. The rooms are clean and the staff is very hard-working. The Front desk Staff was prompt to assist us with anything needed. The House Keeping dutifully ensured clean and well stocked rooms for us, especially Bankhim, who takes the first place in diligence. The Restaurant Staff was caring and friendly, especially Bharbhi who is very good with children. Their restaurants boast of a variety of cuisine and menu and the food is good. The Breakfast spread is standard, but can be improved. Our special thanks to Subh odeep and his team to have made this a memorable stay for us. I shall recommend this as a must place to stay if you are visiting Lavasa as everything is closeby.and accessible with a short walk.

  Perfect

  This is a wonderful hotel situated in Lavasa. The stay at this hotel was one of the best. It was very comfortable and warm. The food was also very tasty. The prices were also reasonable. It suits our budget.

  The downfall in everything just like Lavasa in general

  Its a far cry from what the Mercure used to be. We booked the Celebrations hotel in Lavasa for a weekend and it turned out an extremely sour experience. Whole of Lavasa turned out to be like that so the hotel was just a reflection to how far below Lavasa has fallen as a place. The room remains the same without any basic amenities, lack of service and warmth. The menu remains the same with great taste (in room dining) but the breakfast spread has reduced significantly. Earlier during our visits the property used to be buzzing but now very few rooms occupied. Would probably be our last visit . . . . As we saw many other properties on our way. Its a shame really . . .

  Comfortable stay

  While, as of December 2019, Lavasa is in doldrums, awaiting environmental issues resolutions, and fresh investment, places like Celebration and the Waterfront make it still a worthwhile short visit. Situated a short distance away from the Lavasa Waterfront. overlooking the greenery, and in the midst of calm and quiet, Celebration is a still a comfortable stay. Rooms: The rooms are well maintained, decently provisioned and quite comfortable. They are well-cleaned and well-served. Food and restaurant: With good interior and exterior dining, it is a very comfortable experience. While service is good, not all items on the Menu are always available. Also, the buffet for breakfast and dinner is extremely delicious, but becomes repetitive after 3-4 days. Also, when there are many guests, service times for dining and room service becomes very slow, even for cocktails and mocktails from the bar menu. Also, the Zen bar always seems deserted without a dedicated bartender. Play area: While we had Ludo and Snake-n-Ladder, and play area for kids, as well as well-maintained garden, there needs to be a few more items to keep kids occupied. Staff: Extremely friendly and very helpful. Overall, a good place for a 2-3 day stay at Lavasa - very relaxing.

  All Good Except Price

  This is the only property around the main centre which is running with all the departments up. Rest of all - Fortune Select (closed) and The Waterfront Shaw (only stay, kitchen closed) are running short of something or the other. This is located around 500 metres from the main centre and offers decent stay. Welcome was good, Check in was smooth, rooms were spacious and clean, well maintained, all the facilities in the room were in working condition. Service was relatively quick, they've a decent manpower deployed. Staff is courteous. Regarding the facilities in the property, they've covered parking in the basement for around 10-15 cars which is on first come first serve basis, rest of the cars can be parked at the ramp or around the property. Security is adequate. One indoor play area with TT, carrom and chess. There was a nicely curated lawn at the backside of the property too. Food is too costly. OTA sold us room only package and breakfast was being charged at Rs.450 plus taxes pp. There were ample options around for food which we opted to choose. Overall a very good experience. However, property should have more recreational activities inside since Lavasa has been now reduced to charmless destination with almost nothing to do outside. Few negative aspects to note for Hotel Celebration: - Extraordinary food price - They allow guests to smoke right in front of the entrance lobby. This affects every one trying to get in or out of the property. - No minibar in the room. - No swimming pool and kids play area.
