  Good value property well located for Liverpool and Manchester

  I stayed at this property for 2 nights just prior to Christmas 2020. Well located just off J23 M6, the hotel offers a well appointed stay just next to Haydock Race Course. Liverpool and Manchester are both an easy drive away. The rooms are large, well appointed, with large comfortable beds. The COVID secure breakfast service requires one to pre-order the night before, the food items are rather limited, but the breakfast was nevertheless enjoyable. When I stayed at the hotel, Tier 2 restrictions were in operation, and thus the spa, gym, and swimming pool were all open. Staff were friendly. One negative aspect (and this is just down to the design of the property) is that the hotel is like a maze to navigate. Staff should try and ensure those with limited mobility are offered rooms as near to reception as possible.

  Enjoyable Business Stay

  Great location just off the M6. Wish i could have used the lounge area, great fish & chips. Nice quite stay and the staff i came into contact with could not do enough for me even during these difficult times.

  Stayed in the Mercure Haydock for the past few months. It is located just of the m6 making travel to both Liverpool and Manchester very easy. The rooms are large and so too are the bathrooms- all which are very modern and cleaned to high standards upon arrival. Hand sanitiser and one way systems has been adopted due to Covid which has made my stay very comfortable during these difficult times. All the staff have been fantastic and have been polite and helpful throughout my stay here. The food is to a very high standard with a large range of different meals, will definitely return in future!

  The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating in facilitating a small business meeting. The facilities were perfect for the needs of the meeting and the hotel is well-appointed and very-well situated.

  First Class Customer Service

  Would recommend the Mercure Haydock Hotel, I have stayed with them three times now to support essential business recently. Their setup has been well thought through and adapted during these strange times. Their staff are friendly and really accommodating - If you are lucky, they may make you their 'Guest of the day' and give you a free upgrade. It may not be hotel experience that we are all used to, but I'd stay here again as this team go out of their way to help where they can and provide first class customer service. Graham.
