  Luxurious

  Grateful for my week and half long stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious with high quality ingredients and lots of variety for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Rooms cleaned daily, place was spotless. Quiet location for a good nights sleep and good for coming to Cardiff from the motorway and accessing different parts of Cardiff.

  Came to Wales to end our vacation, my husband had a heart attack, had to move to a hotel nearer to the hospital, The staff at the Mercure,The Manager, Dorota , The most caring lady,The most gorgeous cherie, they were amazing, kind considerate just wonderful to say the least, we cannot thank you enough,Alex and Sharne, were very nice, thank you so much for helping our nightmare easier, I recommend anybody to stay at the Mercure North

  Great stay

  I came to Cardiff with my 20 month old son to visit my Grandma. The hotel and room looked to have been recently refurbished, & was very smart. The room is lovely, bed very comfortable, loved the reading lights by the side of the bed as well as the side lights. Ideal for me, as I couldnt watch tv after the little one had gone to bed, as I would have woken him. Immaculate Travel cot provided. Plenty of facilities & furniture in the room, very well designed. Really big En suite with brilliant power shower. Best Ive known in any hotel. Staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough, WhatsApp anything you need to reception and they bring it up for you, which really helped bring on my own with a toddler. Breakfast was lovely, good quality meat (only downside is machine coffee was too sweet). A big thank you to Sanjay who helped us both days, bringing everything we needed, setting up highchairs & arranging alternative breakfasts for the little one and even washing the babies cutlery and plate I had taken down to breakfast for him to use. Good location, close to motorway and only a few miles into Cardiff or to Cardiff Bay. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone I know going to stay in the area.

  Quality of stay was excellent . Hotel recently fully refurbished throughout to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfy and the quality of bedroom itself made it a pleasure to sleep in . Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly . Superb lounge area .Large car park an added bonus. Would definitely stay again .

  excellent service in trying times

  Stayed here for 21 nights in jan 2021 whilst working in cardiff, i was so happy with the service we got, food was served to our rooms but the menus were really quite good considering the dinner menu was a limited one, there was always at least 6 items available very night, and they mixed it up very well, breakfast again was served to the room and again, no complaints, well done mercure, i am happy to say you provided us with a safe, clean happy stay and hopefully we can come again when the world has finally got back to normal
