  our room was next to a storage room

  They have some nice rooms near the pool and if you are unlucky (like us) you get a room in the very back of the property next to a storage room with only a small window looking towards a wall. Service is very slow.

  Charming and Intimate

  A wonderful property with a small pool, tropical garden setting and great views of the sea just across a very quiet road from the seaside. 2 minutes walk to a good set of oceanside restaurants. Wifi a little hit and miss but mostly a hit. Breakfast is good. Would return.

  Very Disappointed...lost it's charm

  It's very disappointing that such a good resort with good location lost It's charm due to very bad service, room quality. It's an horrible experience with resort during our check in time with receptionist, her behavior was so rude and she was so arrogant that she told us to leave resort if we do not like the provided room which was at the end of the resort and near by store room and we did not asked for that room as we have 2 kids with us. Room quality can be found in photos, strained towel, dark room so you cannot see that room is not clean, car parking on the quite main road without any security guard. Not recommended at all for families with kids. Only good is that small pool with sea view, average breakfast. We will never return to this resort.

  Blissful Stay

  Ours stay were just perfect. The bed was just so comfy. I could literally buy the mattress from you! The service were good and friendly. The lady at the reception checked us in (5 rooms in total) within minutes. She had our names and room numbers ready. This is better than any 5 star hotels we stayed in. Mr. Im the guy in charge of the bar in the evenings were just very helpful and kind. The breakfast was tasty and enough to be enjoyed with the scenery. The rooms were clean and surroundings we just nice. We already book again for our next trip. Its also few steps away from the Crab Market and all the Seafood restaurants.

  Dirtiest hotel I have ever seen !!!

  I can not believe this place has good reviews on TripAdvisor, they must be fake or paid for reviews. I just had 2 night here at Kep and chose Mealea based on positive reviews and the photos. Well what a dump. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Its not a resort, its no better than a 1970s hostel ( even hostels today are better). It was dirty, old, poorly maintained. The room smelt of mould and sewerage and was so unkept. The linen was dirty and had holes in it. The mattress was old and vile and had no mattress protector ( I slept on the bed in shorts and T-shirt). The towels stunk of mould and were threadbare and 1 had a huge hole in the middle. The bathroom was vile and the floor was some type of painted clay and was always wet and stunk of mildew. I showered in flip flops and this is the 1st time I do this in a hotel ever. The pool was so dirty and slimy around the edge and the sun loungers were filthy (it would take 5 minutes to clean the lounges but nobody seems to care at this place). The breakfast served up the oiliest eggs I have ever seen and the bottom of the eggs were covered in black crap off the frying pan. The staff were unprofessional and at 06:45 each morning arrived to work and were chatting so loud it woke me up and I asked them to be quieter. They were yelling across the gardens to each other as they cleaned the bungalows and had no regard for guest peace and quiet. Very unprofessional behaviour. Nobody was available at check in and the guard took 5 minutes to find staff to help me. Same at the cafe, the staff were never there and you had to go look for the. They all seemed to congregate in a bungalow at the top of the garden for chat sessions. Overal, this place is the pits and do not ever stay here. The booking sites list it as 3 stars resort but it is zero stars and it shouldered removed from the major booking search engines in my opinion.
