  Suites Geared Towards Familys

  The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and situated off a main road next to a large shopping mall. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance to include Buffalo Wild Wings and locally owned restaurants and off course shopping at the mall. The lobby has a very warm feel and a traditional setting for the area with Mexican Tile. The rooms are large and have a bar area with a mini fridge, microwave and sink. There is a pullout couch and TV in the living area and large king size bed in the bedroom. The bathroom is a little small and dated but very clean. The bed was soft and not too firm. The hotel has a large indoor pool and hot tub that is monitored by an attendant. There is also a small game room and even a sweet shop for the kids that also has a small Starbucks. There is a bar/restaurant that serves nightly cocktails. The same area also hosts the morning breakfast buffet which is complimentary. There is a large banquet area towards the back so be sure to check for an event if you dont want to be disturbed. There is a small fitness room with a treadmill and cable machine. This area was closed at the time of my stay as was the game room, and sweet shop. My stay was during the opening phases for Texas for COVID-19. The breakfast was available and the pool was open as well with Social Distancing.

  Taste of mexico

  We like to stay here when we are in Abilene. The service is nice, breakfast to order, and nice roomy suites. The courtyard is so pretty. The rooms could use updating but still a nice, relaxing place to stay.

  Memorial gathering

  These guys are good. Great hospitality started at the front door and carried throughout our 4 nights. Rooms were clean, some more updated than others but all as promised. The suite set up allowed one of us to sleep while the other was active. Decent included breakfast with an excellent group of employees, everyone one of whom was polite and happy to help. While not a "five-star" fancy hotel, this was a well located wonderful place to make home for a bit.

  Great Staff

  I was so impressed of the welcoming attitude of the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant everyone was warm and friendly. In the COVID era we seem to see such a lack of services and hospitality- this property reminded me of days gone by!

  No customer service at all

  I called the hotel prior to booking to ask if they were pet friendly and they did confirm that they were. So I booked the room via Hotels.com and upon my arrival they asked if I had any pets or kids and said yes. They went ahead with the check in procedures to come back and tell me they were sorry and would not be able to provide me a room. My dog is 23lbs and is as quiet as can be. I asked to speak with a mgr and they sent some snot nose 19 year old out who obviously was not the mgr and he said that they only allowed a couple "pet rooms" and would not make any exceptions. I showed him where I had called and the girl at the front desk confirmed she had spoke to me asking if they I could stay there with my dog. So, by now its 8pm and all the decent hotels are booked and ended up staying at a nasty motel style place in the hood, because these people would not honor their bookings. Absolute terrible decision on their part.
