  Disappointed

  I was very disappointed you would think a MCM Elegante would live up to the name... definitely not like the others I have stayed at. They only make one bed. You cant sit and socialize with family and friends anywhere in the hotel after 10 which is ridiculous cause the hotel is very large and has plenty of space to have people together. the pillows had stains on them. the toilet was broke you had to take lid off to flush it and while we were gone the housekeeper used it so when we came back in the room stunk and had crap left in there. you cant sleep comfortably because you have to worry about the environment your in (not the area you want to be in) will definitely NEVER EVER stay there again!

  Average Hotel

  An older hotel with a very friendly staff. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We went to the resturant for dinner ordered chicken fried steak and baked potato. The potato we were served was cold, the server said he would get another one. When the potato arrived it was half a potato and still cold inside. The breakfast buffet was ok the omelet bar chef did a good job, the chaffing dish items were cold and the bacon was over cooked to breaking apart, hash were dry.

  Does breakfast trump mediocre rooms?

  We have stayed here twice for 2 different baseball tournaments. Both times, Ive had the same experience. The staff was super nice & friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING & the towels are nice and big & actually fluffy. But if you want an updated hotel room, I would keep looking. Theres outdated carpet throughout the hotel & generally just has that old hotel vibe. Our bed was a taco, constantly rolling to the middle.. There was nastyness (possibly boogers) on the wall in the bathroom. All that aside, I would probably stay here again, because of the breakfast (made to order omlets) and the large atrium that allowed our baseball boys a place to hang out together between games. Hoping their cleaning will be a little more on point next time & I have a room with a better mattress.

  Nice surprise

  Booked this hotel for a week long business trip. It was a lot cheaper than the more well known chains. The hotel is older but the amenities are awesome. Free breakfast and free drinks or Starbucks coffee. There is an indoor pool, gym, restaurant, Starbucks coffee, and bar. I stayed in a king suite. It was a large clean room with a separate sitting room and kitchenette. Super friendly staff. I will definitely stay at this chain again.

  Our favorite place to stay in Lubbock

  This is our favorite place to stay in Lubbock! Best hotel value anywhere! Large, clean rooms, free Delicious breakfast with omlette & waffle chef, & sometimes they offer a complimentary Manager's Happy Hour! Very friendly & accomodating staff, and the manager is always helpful & professional.
