  Good all round experience, first visit to Cyprus !

  Exceptional points - Great variety of music around pool , very good quality of sun beds and chairs .. wee things that make all difference. Excellent staff every one of them ! The rooms were great including kettle and fridge, food nice, entertainment was fab with a good variety of singers and bingo , we even won the quiz. Pool plenty space and sun beds, shuffleboard, french boules , killer darts and pool were a laugh. Outside hotel , big shopping mall 5 mins away , 15 mins to bar street and harbour . Brittania good wee pub on way down too. Very quick transfer from airport too. Feedback - a microwave in restaurant as I like my food a bit hotter and 2 room keys at check in as you need to leave on on in room for chargers , air con etc . Would def return thank you :)

  Excellent hotel. George in the restaurant ensured covid safety measures were adhered too but still ensuring a pleasant experience. The choice of foods was first class. The bar was well run by very efficient but friendly staff. Would i return? Yes. Staay safe Cyprus

  Honest Truthful Review - Please Read

  Still at the hotel and have one more day left :) , Im not one for doing reviews but I think its only fair to let others know what to expect from this hotel , Im here with my wife and 2 kids (age 9 & 5) , definitely not 4 star , I would rate high 2 star maybe 3 at a push The rooms - Very basic but modernish , you get a kettle , 2 cups , 2 teaspoons and a fridge , tv in the living room has 5 channels 2 of which is french and 3 in German , the beds are very uncomfortable , if you move in the bed they slide about on the floor , during the evening we tend to wake up in the morning and have a 5 foot gap between the beds as they are 2 singles pushed together , the aircon is very poor and takes a very very long time to even cool the room slightly , our room 202 was very dark as 5 out of the 10 lights didnt work , the cleaners do a very poor job , our floor was swept once in 7 days , towels were replaced every 2nd day , bedding was never changed once , even didnt top up the toilet rolls , we had to call reception twice to have them brought up . The Main Pool Area - The pool area and pool were kept reasonably clean but not spotless , the sun beds are terrible , please be careful when using these as the frame is made from very thin aluminium , 50% of the sun beds arent useable and if you do the bolts have pulled through the aluminium frame leaving sharp burst open aluminium so when you sit on them they collapse and likely to cut you , fortunately someone told us about this so we were very wary when choosing our beds , lots of stray cats around , I think mainly due to guests feeding them food , they do hiss at you if you dare walk to close to them , bit of a pain especially when you dont particularly like cats anyway The Bar / Drinks - we were all inclusive and the drinks selection was reasonable to be fair , Were not big drinkers as we only drink a few times a year to be fair so didnt bother us to much anyway , although on the first evening we got chatting to another couple and ended up having a few drinks with them , we got to the bar about 8pm and the bar closed at 10:30pm due to covid restrictions but you could sit down their until whatever time you wished , we hadnt had much and had been to get a few drinks for once the bar closed , we started to drink them and discovered the bar staff had stopped putting the vodka into our drinks , so had 8 drinks on the table between the 4 of us with no alcohol , when challenged they didnt even deny it , we then went to management regarding the issue he seemed shocked and resolved the issue very quickly , quite rightly so considering youve paid for a service you werent getting The Food - as mentioned previously we were all inclusive , my kids and myself struggled to find something to eat and ended up having to eat out often so if you come here please bring extra money for food out with the hotel not something you should have to do but we didnt have a choice Breakfast - between 7am - 10am plenty fruits , Hams , cheeses , cereal , toast and the usual breakfast items , lacking in your typical Scottish / English breakfast items , they have sausages and bacon but very bland with no taste and chewy bacon . not something you would eat in my opinion Snack - between 10:30am - 12:00 - there is ham and cheese sandwiches that are made up from the leftover bread from near the toaster at breakfast so very stale and often hard , there is also wraps , chips and often one other item thats your choices daily Lunch - between 12:30pm - 2:30pm again plenty choices and varieties of salads , pasta , hot food etc but nothing basic if your a fussy eater , lacking badly in options for kids unless they want to eat chips every day , not difficult to have chicken nuggets or the likes for kids but not here Snack - between 3:00pm - 5:30pm - ice cream and a choice of 2 different biscuits Tea / dinner - between 7:00pm and not sure until when it closes - They did themed nights but again for a basic eater / children wanting plain basic food there was little or no options Overall in my personal opinion I wouldnt recommend this hotel , certainly isnt value for money and not as advertised via jet2 of whom I will be contacting customer service on my return home

  Great value accommodation!!

  Everyone at the Mayfair Gardens deserves credit for their efforts in making our holiday so enjoyable. They are friendly, polite and diligent in all they do! Highly recommended for a reasonably priced All Inclusive holiday in good accommodation!!

  Our second visit in two months.

  We visited the first time the end of August when Cyprus was given travel corridor status, we loved it so much we re booked and came with another family 8 weeks later. The staff WOW Ive traveled to some places around the world but these guys couldnt have down more. George in the restaurant deserves a real pat on the back that man made us feel so welcomed. That kind of service is top class! When we was returning we emailed the hotel and the manager upgraded not only our room as returning guests but also our friends who travelled with us, we also had a fruit platter and bottle of champagne in our room on arrival which was a really nice touch, Thankyou Christos The facilities where all we needed as a family of four with two children ages 9 and 7 we barely seen them they was either in the water park one of the 4 pools or in the arcade. In their words the best holiday theyve ever had, The food was lovely a good range of choice, no its not fine dining but it all inclusive and a good range and lots for kids. The rooms are clean, freshly decorated on the basic side but cover all needs. Mayfair you was wonderful and we will for sure return. Stay safe and Thankyou for two wonderful holidays
