  Relax

  Lugar para descanso, entorno agradable con gran extensión de terreno para pasear, una piscina inmensa (algo sucia) ; los servicios que dispone no están en relación a su categoria 5*, wifi mala calidad, no hay restaurante para comida o cena, por lo que para comer o cenar hay que coger coche para ir a localidades cercanas (Ostuni es la opción ideal, con centro histórico que no hay que perderse, está a 15 Km) ; En el hotel únicamente hay un bar en la zona de piscina. habitaciones muy amplias. Desayuno excelente y muy variado, Personal agradable.

  Lovely hotel and location.

  Stayed here for 1 week (5th- 12th sept) A car is required and the entrance is through large electric gates (buzz to enter) We were warmly welcomed and taken to a beautiful suite on the first floor . Our only disappointment at check in was being told that the restaurant was closed which meant we had to drive each evening for a meal.The suite was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Toiletries were provided and two bottles of water each day. Tea / coffee making facilities are not provided in the room however a request for a kettle made to the very helpful young lady at reception proved fruitful. She arrived with a tray with cups saucers kettle and milk jug within 5 minutes. Thank you. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Ideal location for travelling to the various sites and towns in the area. Lovely extensive grounds for an evening stroll.

  Disappointed

  On the positive side, our room / suite was large, clean and comfortable. It looked like it had been recently refurbished. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool. But, be prepared, this is not a 5 star hotel. As a Masseria it is rural, rustic and rather basic. The bar shuts at 6.30, there is no restaurant and no coffee making facilities. The property is huge and feels deserted. Coach parties come and go and we felt on our own much of the time. There is no atmosphere or buzz around the place. Its nice and quiet but too quiet. The staff were very fed up and had no interest in talking to us. This sort of place might be perfect for you, but for us we were disappointed with the lack of facilities. We stayed for 6 nights which was 3 too long.

  Relaxing!

  Beautiful location amazing room quiet and located facing the mountains so perfect for relaxation! Loved it! Amazing architecture and surroundings! Super clean and great staff very helpful and friendly

  Cold noisy and not worth a visit

  This hotel was especially noisy. The hotel is very big and the walls are very thin. I was woke at 6am on a Saturday due to the extremely loud noises coming from above my room. There was constant chair and table dragging across the floor for a good 3 hours straight, assuming they were setting up for a wedding. There was nothing more infuriating when I booked into the hotel looking forward to a relaxing evening and a good sleep! Fortunately I was only there the one night otherwise I would have asked to be moved. I dont understand why they have a mini bar fridge in the room, turned on but nothing inside. What a waste! The rooms also became very very cold during the night as they are very big in size, with just cold stone white walls. There is only a bed sheet on the bed, no duvet cover. My husband did find a duvet in the cupboard but it was just that - a duvet, no bed sheets for it, assuming they dont wash the duvets everyday as they would do the sheets it makes me wonder how many people before me have used this, I stayed cold through the night instead. I had to iron a dress for an event I was attending in a town nearby and they only had 2 irons for the entire masseria so I had to opt to go out with an extremely wrinkly dress as the reception said they couldnt get me it as someone else had it. They couldnt even try or ring the other room to see how long it was needed. Very disappointed. Staff were not very friendly at all.
