  Failed to Meet Expectations

  Unfortunately it doesn't live up to its potential. Despite its great location, our experience here was tainted by unfriendly management uncharacteristic of southern Italian hospitality.

  Just Don't...

  We had the bad judgement to chose Masseria Magli as the venue to celebrate our wedding. What initially attracted us was the picturesque old farmhouse with its medieval courtyard and the manicured lawns with olive trees: what we had pictured as a perfect setting for an outdoor Southern Italian wedding. Unfortunately, our wedding was nearly destroyed by the unpredictable and unprofessional conduct of the proprietor. Due to our poor experience with the management of Masseria Magli, which at times was nothing short of appalling, we strongly recommend anyone contemplating staging an event at Magli to reconsider. We believe that they took advantage of us due to us being from overseas; they didn't honour the promises they'd made when they first showed us around, they changed the terms without notice and only a few days before the event, andthey were cold and rude to both us and our guests on the day. Having decided to hold our wedding overseas, we were prepared to be flexible and accept that things don't always go as planned, but the management's unprofessional and unpredictable conduct went way beyond anything anyone would consider acceptable.

  The most beautiful Italian wedding

  After we decided to get married in authentic and pure Italian area of Puglia, we immediately fell in love with Masseria Magli. The beautiful old farmhouse surrounded by olive trees and trulli's was the perfect setting for our wedding. The communication with the management of Masseria Magli regarding our wedding was always friendly and helpful. Our wedding at Masseria Magli lasted three days and was perfect; with a beautiful ceremony in front of the little chapel, a dinner under the olive trees overlooking the courtyard, and a party until the early morning. We were shocked by the reviews written below and cannot believe this; this does not sound like Masseria Magli at all. We can recommend everyone who wants a special, authentic and beautiful Italian wedding to choose Masseria Magli.

  Like in a castle

  I'm happy to share my experience staying in Masseria Magli, just next to the stunning Martina Franca, this place is full of peace and green around, i needed all this and I will for sure plan a longer stay in this masseria. Staff (Francesco) was so kind and friendly that i felt like home. Rooms are large and clean, breakfast super satisfying and the garden help you to smoothly wake up in the morning. Absolutely recommended!
