  Very comfortable, very beautifully restored and furnished

  Another night on our cycling tour of Puglia and another first rate place to stay. Slightly more slick in style than other masserias with fabulous rooms, lovely pool and faultless friendly service. We enjoyed a fascinating presentation on their olive oil and, pleasingly, there was no sales pitch (although its so good we did buy some before we left).

  Mediocre Masseria

  On our 4th of 7 nights our cycling group stayed here . It was an unpleasant surprise that we discovered our rooms were not in Bosco but, in fact, almost a km down the dirt road . Granted the rooms were spacious and comfortable , but after cycling all day you don't feel like walking a mile to and from the main building, pool , restaurant and bar !! We should have been informed ! Olive oil tasting was fantastic ; the best I've ever tasted . But , sadly, 3 of our group of 16 got sick from the same pasta dish ( frutti de mare) . How terrible especially when you must cycle 70 km the following day . Perhaps a stay in the main Bosco building would have been more special , but we didn't experience it .

  Simply excellent

  The hotel is an attractive converted farm complex with lovely old stone walls, furnishings and curios. Almost a small living museum. Our large room was clean and comfortable with a large bed and good bathroom. To ease the hot days there is a nice cosy swimming pool with many sun beds and enough shade. Two highlights go hand in hand. The food and the staff. The local town didnt seem to offer much in the way of restaurants so we eat at the hotel each day and found the variety and quality of the food to be truely excellent. The waiters were keen to help with translations and explanations and we had 4 days of outstanding food. Many local people came to the restaurant each night. Secondly all the staff were so friendly and helpful, we could not fault them in anything they did for us. If you are thinking of exploring this area of Puglia, then this hotel is a must.

  Great Stay..

  The reception was very welcoming and the building looked amazing. The rooms are fantastic and really comfortable. We had a "shower cubicle " in the bathroom that promised a jet wash shower - alas we had a normal shower.... The accommodation is set in an olive oil production area in a very quiet location. Unfortunately the main bar, swimming pool and restaurant is located 10mins walk away - be careful not to get lost....down the track and turn left - a signpost would be nice. Very good breakfast. Staff very helpful We also had an Olive Oil tasting- very informative- unfortunately the rest of our group stopped me asking more questions. I learnt a lot, the guide was obviously very passionate about his craft. The meal we had was very tasty especially the veal. Recommended....

  Warm and friendly, comfortable and peaceful.

  Masseria Bosco is located a little way off the main road, deep within large olive groves. We hugely enjoyed five nights here, in a well equipped and comfortable room. The hotel was not busy, but we were so well looked after by the family and staff in every respect. They offered good suggestions for our daily trips in the area, with maps and information to help. We particularly enjoyed their own excellent wines and in the restaurant, which is itself a most interesting room, we were treated to an excellent menu of dishes at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was continental but was adequate to satisfy most tastes. Outside, there is a huge pool area, and other seating where the hotel is clearly able to accommodate larger numbers. These were little used during our stay, but would be welcome facilities in busier times.
