  Peaceful and quiet

  We stayed there for only 1 night but it was lovely. Located among thousands of olive trees offers a place to relax and enjoy the quiet. Parking is great, room is a bit outdated but spacious with a very large bathroom. I didn't like the bed, it was too hard. But from the balcony to the wonderful pool was just few steps and that's beautiful. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. I think that without navigation system we couldn't find the place, especially at night.

  Great stay but room too basic for the price

  The good: The hotel has a very nice and calm setting ideal for a relaxed stay. The pool is a great plus which we really enjoyed during our stay. We also had dinner there one night which was quite good. The staff was kind and friendly. The not so good: The room was nothing fancy and our bed was quite uncomfortable. Our backs felt it after 3 nights... We found it a bit expensive compared to other masseries with better rooms but overall our stay was quite enjoyable.

  Tranquility and relaxation

  I stayed for one overnight stay in June this year with a group of nine other friends. We were on a two day cycle from Lecce en route to Otranto and this was the accommodation booked by Apluviaservice. The Masseria provided us with the perfect end to days cycling in the heat. The outdoor pool, spotless clean and surrounded by comfortable sun beds was divine. Dinner was delicious, served by the very friendly Bruno, he brought us a variety of dishes to share and everyone of us enjoyed it. Our rooms were very comfortable, twin beds, cool and each one on the ground floor had a small terrace, the scent from the Jasmine growing outside the windows is unforgettable. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend the Masseria for getting away from it all for a coulple of days on a trip to Puglia.

  A hidden gem amongst the olive groves

  Masseria Bosco di Makyva is an enchanted place, hidden among the olive groves and pine trees. It offers a true Mediterranean feel - its the Italy as youve seen it in films and wished you could experience. It gives you the feeling of staying with friends in an Italian villa. The official pictures dont do it justice - its even more beautiful in real life. Only a couple of miles from the beach, its happily situated, but you could just as well stay on the property and lounge around the pool or simply sit in the green shade of your private patio and watch the little lizards move about, listen to the cicadas and breathe in the scent of pines and rosemary. The rooms are very clean, the staff are helpful and friendly. A truly beautiful experience. I hope Ill come here again.

  Beautiful place but can be improved

  This is a beautiful masseria located in a quiet area, 10-15 mins drive from Torre dell'Orso. You can enjoy the swimming pool in a fantastic garden or a walk among the trees. Rooms are spacious but quite outdated, especially the noisy and smelly air conditioners. The big disappointment was the breakfast: sliced and tasteless cheese, hard and tasteless bread, industrial products, just a couple of home made cakes: it is called masseria therefore one would expect some local products, taking into account the amazing variety and the high quality of the raw material in this area of Puglia. Also there should be more space to enjoy breakfast in the garden instead of having it in a dark and warm room. Wifi slow and not stable.
