Much needed weekend get awayAn awesome weekend get away with the family! Upon arriving we were greeted with the best rum punch!. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing! Super delicious! 5/5! Honestly cant wait to visit again! Melanie was the best, ensuring our stay was special and the best! Was a great little get away with all that has happened with the pandemic. And if you are wondering YES! Sanitizers were available through out the resort and staff took all necessary measure to provide a safe and fun stay!

Paradise in the JungleIm finding that you either dislike Belize Boutique Resort and Spa or you absolutely love it; my husband and agree with the latter Lets break this down by category... * Food Not once did I find the quality of food or selections to be subpar. The resort uses the most freshest ingredients and delicious combinations so that guests have the ultimate experience in typical Belizean dining. If you expect to visit a different country, make sure youre open minded to their cuisine. If not, take vacations in your own country. As for the resort being quite far from alternative dining and feeling forced to buy meals here, the best option you have is to select one of their stay packages, which include 3 course meals daily but be aware this does NOT include drinks. You can find each meals menu on their website, so get acquainted with the foods they offer but we enjoyed the specials, like Water Buffalo Marinara, Tuna Tostones, and Venison. * Location The resort is located deep within the mainland and unless you have ur own vehicle, chances are you will remain there for the duration of your stay. Keep in mind that some of those packages I mentioned, include tours AND transportation. If youd like to venture out to an area that isnt included in a package, yes, you will pay for the transportation so again, take advantage of the packages. The drive is a bit more than an hour and 15 minutes from the international airport and while most of the roads are paved, there are many miles of gravel roads so just sit back and enjoy the bumpy ride learning about Belize from one of the resorts personable drivers, David or Alemkar. * Accommodations, Facilities & Decor Our flight back to the states was cancelled, TWICE and each time, Melanie welcomed the extended stay. I found she was super easy to talk to when issues popped up. She never gave me the impression that she was neglectful or inflexible; always willing to address any concerns. The resort is about 35 years old and although there is plenty to find that could use an update or repair, it actually gives more character to the property. The crumbling statues complimented the beautiful mosaic patterns and intricate details throughout their constructed land. If ur looking for modern design, youre not likely to find it here as the owners have delicately selected simple, natural resources for their build-out. The resort is eclectic with many cultural items throughout. If you appreciate color, culture and art, youll love this resort!! * Wifi Youre not likely to get adequate service while inside the resort and for many miles surrounding it but if youre on vacation, why would you need it anyway???? Communication with the resort was simple and reliable with the WhatsApp and if we really needed to use the internet, a short walk to the fountain pool would be the solution, as it was closest to the satellite dish. We didnt mind the disconnection because it gave us more time for each other, and more time to appreciate the resort. Believe it or not, after 26 years of marriage, it was a much needed break from the noise and distractions. I could go on with all the features we enjoyed, such as the staff, the beautiful, symbolic artistry and the drinks...oh the drinks . Staff and management work very hard to create the perfect stay for you and they make it seem easy. After 9 days, I was sad to go as I developed a genuine appreciation for the people of Belize. Thank you to Melanie, Nick, Merickston, Sterling, Alemkar, David, Gloria, Norma, Jameila (sp?), our 2 masseuses (names ?), the cooks, the security, the resort dog . Till next time....
