  PGL School Ski Trip

  Going to Hotel Martinella with my school was a very different thing, obviously, you didn't get to choose the food but it was still great, it was the same waiters so they got to know you, unfortunately, breakfast was a little light and you were very hungry by lunch. The hotel is very nicely located, right next to the slopes with a place to put your skis and boots. There is good Disco facilities with an excellent DJ!! However, the receptionist/manager cannot speak English and there is only about 2 members of staff which can. The bar is great and overall with 50 students and another school of about 80 this was a very good stay and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just make sure you get better pillows!!! Valley Park School

  Outstanding Hospitality

  My family and I spent the Christmas holiday here. We were treated like family the entire time. The hosts and hostesses were very friendly. The common area with the fireplace and the restaurant gave a feel of my own home. The hotel location is fantastic too. Theres a ski lift right behind the hotel. I highly recommend this for any family vacation!

  OK as a base for skiing

  Recently stayed here on a Feb half term ski trip. The hotel is very close to the slopes which was great. The rooms were great but a little basic (TV, hairdryer) but no tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, the shower was fantastic and overall the hotel was very clean. Didn't get much choice in food as it was an organised trip, however, what we received was good. Drinks at the bar were quite expensive (3 Euro for a can of coke) however, there is a shop nearby if you don't want to pay those prices.

  Great placement and quality

  It´s 3 start hotel which fully comply with 3 star rating. Hotel is in proximity of slope (100 m max). Village is small and nothing interesting to do there. Rooms: + very tidy, clening every day, equiped normally (tv, wifi). No fridge, missing curtains. Hotel/public areas: + clean, nicely equiped, room for ski, sauna. 2 elevators, play room Restaurant: + half board, dinners tastefull. - breakfast very poor and same Staff: + helpfull, supportive, great receptionist - english shall be improved (but ok for normal communication). I would recommed this hotel as it offer great price with very good quality.

  Recent school ski trip and terrible quality food served during the school trip!

  My daughter has recently returned from a school ski trip which covered the February half term holidays 2018. I was in contact with my daughter asking about the ski conditions and food etc. I am a keen skier with nearly 35 years experience and the quality of food is so important whilst skiing! The pictures she took showed inferior processed food and not what you expect in Italy. They had no choice but to buy food on the mountain because of the poor quality and tiny portions served for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. I can't believe that in Italy of all places they can't serve a great fresh pizza or pasta with fresh salad and crusty bread. The breakfasts consisted of limited chocolate cereals and no fresh eggs, fresh juices, fruit etc. How are you expected to function without good quality wholesome food! I would avoid at all costs!!!
