  Old and stuffy but spacious and convenient

  It is quite old style and outdated with smell. Otherwise overall good stay as it is very clean and location wise is within walking distance to the Dongdaemun night market and at the back of the hotel is the 7-11 convenience store. The famous mochi shop in Hualien is also just nearby the hotel. The triple double beds room is spacious and it comes with 2 separate bathrooms. The aircon water dripping sound was heard throughout the night. All the standard toiletries and amenities were provided in the room inclusive of water bottle and big screen TV. There is also water dispenser outside the corridor.

  Event clean hotel

  The rooms are very big with 2 double beds and a decent bathroom. The decor is very old but more or less maintained ok. They offer 2 bottles of water, an electric kettle with tea bags , change of toothbrush and basic toiletries. The big problem or the place are the paper thin walls, there was a family with kids in our neighbor in room and we could hear every word they spoke. Breakfast offers a wide range of Chinese dishes, which for tourists from the west are not usual, but I still recommend to give them a try, some are very interesting.

  Modern clean functional

  A very modern and clean hotel. Good central location. A little old fashion deco in the rooms. A good option for an overnight stay in the city. The room windows were filthy but the rest of the rooms were clean and functional

  This is the best hotel in Hualien

  This is the best hotel in Hualien, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They provided me with very useful travel information. The hotel is at a very convenient location. It has clean and good facilities: Steam bath, Sauna and pool, which can be used at a very reasonable price. The hotel provided me with transportation which picked me up at the airport and sent me to the airport on time. The room is basic and big enough, with outdated decoration in the room, but is clean with good ventilation. The television has a lot of channels (both Chinese and English), even if you get bored, you can still have an entertainment. The staff told me where the laundry service is, which made is easier for me. The location of the hotel is excellent, just 2 blocks away from town, easy to get to the restaurants and cafes. At the price Marshal is charging, this is a good bargain.

  Clean and convenient

  Decent, clean room for the price. Very stingy with drinks in the room, there were 2 teabags for 3 people and no coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient: right by busy main roads and a 5 minute walk to the night market. The optional breakfast (NT$200) is not worth it at all. You can get much better and cheaper food at any nearby breakfast shop.
