  excelente hotel

  Hay que tener coche para ir. El hotel es nuevo,grande ,limpio y con buenas vistas. Habitaciones confortables y decoradas con gusto. Dispone de piscina y sala de fitness. El desayuno es excelente y abundante. Lo que hay que vigilar son los extras.

  Muy buen hotel en Leicester

  Es un hotel nuevo, ubicado en los accesos a Leicester. Cuenta con parking -pago- y un muy amplio y cómodo lobby bar., cuenta con un café Starbucks. Las habitaciones son confortables, baño con toallero calefaccionado, caja de seguridad. wi fi free en los lugares públicos y de pago en las habitaciones. Piscina climatizada y un gimnasio bien equipado. Desayuno de calidad, tarifa razonable. Cómo crítica: el bar-restaurante, pedimos para cenar y la camarera nos informó que tenían una demora de 40/45 minutos en el servicio, lo que es inadmisible en un hotel con los standards de Marriot.

  Perfecto hotel a las afueras de Leicester

  Un hotel grande, con habitaciones amplias, buen servicio, limpio y perfecto si no quieres estar en el centro de la ciudad. La comida que sirven en el hotel esta muy buena también. Camas cómodas, grandes y agradables. Tienes que ir en coche para llegar, tienes que pedir el parking ya que es imposible aparcar fuera de las instalaciones.

  Great customer service!

  Marriott Leicester was truly a great experience. The staff were excellent, the customer service was brilliant and the Marriott Bonvoy app was amazing and convenient. At first, we had a problem with our room; the shower wasnt turning hot and the smart TVs smart features werent quite working well. Using the Marriott Bonvoy app, we called the reception (Yes, there was no need for using annoying hotel room telephones!) and told them about everything hoping that they would fix it or at the very least would know about it. To be honest, we called the reception twice but the call wouldnt go through because they were busy. I completely understand how they their burden as staff would have increased significantly due to the current situation. Nevertheless, the third time we called, they picked up and said that someone will come to your room in the next 10 minutes. It was 8:45 in the night, and we expected an engineer and a Plummer to come and fix the problems; we were kind of annoyed. But it wasnt an engineer or a Plummer, it was a Marriott staff member called Adam. He was really good and instead of fixing it, he offered us ANOTHER ROOM to make up for the trouble caused. This was great and completely unexpected. This just shows how great the customer service is at Marriott. While moving to our new room, we got locked out; how clumsy! At first, we thought that if we go down to reception and ask for another key and explain everything that happened, the would be annoyed and we didnt want to bother them. After a while, we decided to go downstairs to reception and ask them for the key since we had to do something. Thanks to two receptionists, Suzanne and Adam, we didnt have to explain anything about how we switched rooms; it was all on the system. This shows how unified and organised the Marriott system is. This brings me onto the next great thing: The Marriott Bonvoy app. *Note that is is only available if youre a Marriott Bonvoy member. This app was absolutely amazing; traditionally, if you wanted to order for example a set of toothbrushes in a hotel, youd have to go to reception or call them up. But with the app, all you have to do is press a button, specify the quantity and click order. It would be at your room in under 15 minutes. Note that all of this is free if youre a Bonvoy Member. Using the app, you can also use your phone as a key for your room and do so much more. Pretty cool isnt it? Last but not least, the breakfast at the Market Kitchen was really good and fresh - especially the croissants. Along with the positives, there is also room for improvement as with anything. The TV was really slow and faulty at times and the we had some problems with the hot water. Other than that, Marriott is a great experience. I would truly recommend going to this hotel compared to others, yes its a bit more pricy but it is worth it.

  Brilliant

  Another absolutely wonderful family stay at this beautiful modern hotel. The hotel is beautiful from the moment you walk in. The rooms are very large and spacious with double doubles available which we needed. TVs were huge and WiFi was fast. USB changing points near beds is a godsend these days. Breakfast was beautiful and all staff were very friendly in the restaurant. Especially the men serving us breakfast and evening drinks to our table. Fully Covid secure, one way systems and lots of hand gel. Parking is an extra £6 a day which is a shame as theres no need for it when the hotel is empty and no one is parking nearby. The only downside is having to walk downstairs to collect your room service. Still not sure why they cant leave it outside your door and maintain a safe distance. The hotel was like a ghost shop which is such a shame. But we will be back to Leicester and we will always look to stay here.
