  No privacy in bathroom; concierge lounge closed

  The bathroom door is 'barn door' style, so not only does it not close fully, it is frosted glass. Who thought that was a good idea? Also, the concierge lounge is closed, so what's the point of elite status? Currently not worth the premium price if you are a Marriott Rewards person.

  Best Hotel Experience.

  I travel a lot but recently decided to move from being a Hilton member to Marriott / Bonvoy. My first stay was Marriott at the University in Dayton Ohio. First.. the atmosphere / room etc was amazing.. but honestly, the best experience was the most amazing food I had in their dining area. I had to complement Chef Victoria on making my stay amazing.

  Cleanest place weve stayed in all year!

  Located directly across from University of Dayton in a park like setting. Safe well lit parking lot. Spacious meeting room- spacious clean welcoming lobby! Rooms were immaculate! Comfortable bedding equaled a wonderful peaceful nights rest. Cute little mascot turtle to follow on social media! We will definitely be back !

  Nice hotel

  We got a room on the 6th floor (club level) the lounge was closed due to COVID. The room was on the larger side with a sofa not quite a junior suite but comfortable. I read other reviews complaining about the bathroom door, it wasnt an issue for me, the door closed fine. The closet space is pretty small other than that everything was good.Tom @ the reception was very helpful and accommodated our needs during our stay.

  This is my fourth or fifth time staying at this property and I am never disappointed! Staff here truly go above and beyond to make you feel like a valued and welcome guest. Everyone working at this property always seems so happy and willing to help or just something small when passing in the hall and asking how you are makes me feel like Im part of a family. When visiting Ohio I typically am in the Lima area but since there is not many choices as far as hotels (just a Courtyard) in Lima I make the hour drive back and forth because this Marriott is worth the drive. Parking is free which is always nice and if you have a Tesla there is two destination chargers on the west side of the hotel. I made my reservations online and used the chat to request an upgrade to a king suite for my stay since I am a titanium member and they upgraded me right away. I accessed my room via mobile key and it also worked well on the elevator. I appreciate when hotels have key access only on floors as additional security for guests. The room was wonderful and spacious with a living room, table and nice sized room and bathroom. I like the bathroom featured a walk-in shower and ample vanity space. Rooms and common areas are very clean and COVID-19 precautions are in place to ensure safety. I noticed everyone was wearing a mask and there were no issues with that. I was on the 6th floor and due to COVID-19 the concierge lounge was closed however they still provide water for guests and breakfast was served in the restaurant which was excellent! I appreciate the fact they have breakfast for elite members because so many properties are not at this time. Breakfast selections are very good and the restaurant staff is attentive. Housekeeping staff is always friendly and helpful, I requested a few extra towels and toothpaste and within minutes they were at my door. Overall this is a great property that offers lots of services and will truly appreciate you as a guest. Staff will treat you like family and do their best to accommodate you. Since this hotel is always willing to do their very best for me, I will always make the little extra drive to give them my business!
