  While the staff are great, the bar doesn't have a lot of choice, and nor does the menu, vegetables are a rarity, I've eaten more chips since being here than the whole of last year, not a crushed spud or any other form of spud in sight. And unfortunately I can't say any of it d really tasty, Thai curry wasn't too bad. Wouldn't rush back here, premier Inn was on a par and cheaper. Works have been nice to have hot hash browns too.

  Impressed and have to say ...

  We were due to stay here last year but our reservation was cancelled last minute, apparently a guest flooded their bathroom and therefore the room we were due to stay in .... not impressed but after a complaint we were offered a room upgrade on our next visit. Almost a year on we found ourselves going back to the area , cheekily asked if the offer was still there and yes it was. Very convenient location , close to a retail park , good shopping. Plenty of parking at the hotel , free if you are staying. Louise at reception was efficient , welcoming and informative. Our room on the second floor was huge , clean and comfortable if a little dated. The bar area was relaxing and once again the staff were lovely, coming to our table to ask if we wanted another drink. Choice was good and prices in keeping with the location. Breakfast was excellent , really friendly greeting, great choice and quality, Adrian was very chatty and friendly. We ate as best we could after a big dinner the evening before. Coffee was way to strong but if that was the only disappointment then thats not bad. Checkout was easy. All in all I was impressed especially after some previous reviews. We enjoyed our stay and based on this experience we would definately stay here again.

  Everything We Needed.

  Stayed here for one night with my Grandson whilst visiting family. Traffic on M25 was a bit mad so was glad that the hotel was very easy to find. Check in receptionist was lovely. Very friendly. We had room 12 on ground floor. Spotlessly clean. Large room with patio doors out onto a beautiful courtyard. Expect it is gorgeous in the summer. The room had everything we could have wanted. Freeview TV, Bath, shower, most comfortable bed and very comfy pillows! Safe, hairdryer, iron and board! Tea, coffee, water and biscuits! A huge array of toiletries that my Grandson enjoyed bringing home!!! The heating was controlled in the room so we were able to have it as warm or cool as we liked. Breakfast was buffet style with fruit juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread and bakery, then there was a hot buffet with full English and a cooking station where you could have your eggs cooked freshly. Check out was again very friendly. We could not fault the hotel or the service we received there and would definitely recommend.

  Afternoon Tea

  A Ladies get together for Afternoon Tea and it didn't disappoint! Food was very good and for the price (£15.95pp) you couldn't fault it. Will definitely be visiting here again with friends in the future. Recommend

  Average Hotel

  I can honestly say my stay wasn't as bad as other reviews. Check in and out was easy. Staff were friendly and pleasant to talk with. The hotel is in decent shape, but smells a bit musty. My room was a bit dated and the windows whistled a bit in the high wind. The bathroom needs some tlc, but the bed was comfortable. The gym was pretty good considering the rest of the hotel. There was plenty available for breakfast and the did was decent. Dinner at the hotel was good. The bar selection is limited. The salad was relatively fresh and the fries were pretty good.
