  Unclean!

  I was out all day and the room was never serviced. WhenI returned at 4:30PM I called the front desk who said they would send housekeeping while I was out for the evening. When I returned at 10PM housekeeping had still not come. No coffee. No shampoo. Bed unmade, etc, etc. The things you might expect from the most modest hotel were not offered at the Baton Rouge Marriott. The front desk simply said there were many rooms and one housekeeper. Totally unacceptable and far below Marriott standards.

  Another great stay

  I stayed here again for 5 nights on business. I believe this was my 4th or 5th time staying at this property and they continue to make my stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, the lounge was closed, but this is to be expected due to Coronavirus. The hotel is clean, rooms are large, and beds comfortable. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping. I have my next stay booked! See you in a few weeks.

  Excellent. Clean, staff wearing masks. Safe. Great stay for the night.

  I had to do an urgent last minute trip from Miami to Houston during covids peak in both states. I was nervous about staying in a hotel because I had a bad experience in Destin at a Sheraton hotel in terms of masks, clean rooms, noise, etc. This Marriott hotel was perfect to rest for the night to continue our drive back to Miami. Clean, updated, everyone from the hotel was wearing a mask (staff), convenient, not loud at all. As always Marriott never disapoonts.,

  Avoid at all costs

  Love Marriott, not this one. DON'T STAY IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY THE POOL. When stayed in this hotel for 3 days they have signs at the door pool saying that it can't be more than 30 people at the pool at the same time I count 43 including my self and my 2 kids.(we definitely went back to our rooms)the worst part is that every morning people that are clearly not staying at the hotel waiting at the door pool for someone to open to sneak in to the pool a 3 women and 13 kids whent there for 3 days in a row im sure they were not staying there because they didn't have the card keys to enter to the pool and I saw them coming and leaving in their cars not to the rooms!!!!!! they where horse playing even one of those kids jumped on top of my daughter's head at the pool , they where running, playing with the life raft ring and jumping on top of the tables they had really loud music (explicit songs saying bad words and talking about drugs )at the pool and smoking close to the kids. the staff don't even care .

  Passing through

  This was a one night stop as we continued to our destination. The traffic on I-10 forced us to stop. The hotel is lovely, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and up to Marriott standards. Our only complaint was the Covid food service - it was very limited, slow and the quality was poor. But the property is lovely and - in light of current environment - we will give the food a pass. Just dont expect great food if you stay.
