  El sitio aunque está en el medio de la nada está chulo. Hay un lago y las vistas, si tienes suerte y tu habitación da hacia ese lado, son brutales. Lo negativo comienza cuando quieres ir a desayunar. Malo, muy malo. Tienen una especie de buffet escaso y un señor haciendo tortillas que es lo más parecido a un terrorista con chaquetilla blanca que he visto en mi vida. De pena. El bar está bien. Los camareros son encantadores. La comida del bar no está nada mal, por lo que merece la pena picar algo aquí. Mas que nada porque no hay nada más en los alrededores. El rematé vino cuando nos quedamos sin luz durante más de una hora por una tormenta. El hotel no tiene la culpa de eso. Pero si es culpable no estar preparado y que solo funcionara un ascensor. ¡Ah! Y mi habitación goteaba tras la tormenta. Menudos goterones. Lo peor de todo es que se veía en el techo que no era la primera vez. Una pena.

  Nice covid-clean room, comfortable bed.

  For our usual monthly medical visit to Ann Arbor, most of the top tier hotels are bargain-priced, so we're staying in places we wouldn't have considered, pre-covid. The Marriott is farther from the hospital than we wanted, and we arrived late so we didn't see much more than the room. Check in was super fast and easy. The picture in the ad might have been taken in the room we were staying in. All the hotel restaurants were closed so we ate by the hospital. No contact check-out was a wave and bye-bye, and we were off.

  Difficult to rate

  Location, staff, room view, everything is excellent but due to Covid it's a ghost town, come on, why don't you have a restaurant or a bar open on a Sunday night? It's like a scene from The Shining! Sorry, much as I'd love to give you more, not having any amenities, not being able to feed your guests or give them a drink is really not acceptable, and a microwave pot is just embarrassing.

  Not the Marriott I'm accustomed 2

  I will start this review by saying I prefer staying with Marriott hotels. This rooms in this one don't seem to match the expected quality. I have never in 44 years stayed at a hotel that didn't have hot steamy showers. The water was warm until my 2nd kid finished and then it was cold. Very odd. I woke up at 7 to shower and it was warm, not hot. It didn't even steam the glass shower doors. The blinds do not block light. The room lit up at 6:30 a.m. as the sun started coming up. I tried to fix it but it was useless. The window felt like it was open. I actually thought it was open. I checked it three times. There was a draft coming in and the temp was 23 degrees. I am in room 330. I'm not sure if the furnace or what about back but it was loud as hell last night. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear everybody. The pool was also closed even though many hotel pools have opened with limited capacity. The hotel is in a nice location and looks fancy when you come in. The lobby is nice. However, I am disappointed with this Marriott. We ars staying one more night. We will make the best of a not so great room. Marriott Eagle Creek, you need to improve.

  Best hotel in the Detroit area!

  I wanted to getaway for a bit so I planned to trip to Ann Arbor and checked into this Marriott for a three night stay. First, I made my reservation through the Marriott app about a week ahead and when it came time to check in I did so on the app and requested a suite upgrade which the hotel gave me right away! I had been upgraded to the presidential suite with great views of the golf course and the lake. The room had a nice sitting area and a full and half bathroom as well as two separate entrances. The staff was very friendly and though the concierge lounge was not in service due to COVID-19 they did have a small offering in the downstairs area where titanium guests got a free drink and snack which was a nice gesture from the hotel. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway or somewhere that has a nice view. The rooms have been updated and the staff is very friendly. Very good location as well right off the highway and not far from the Airport or Detroit.
