  Lacking

  This building is lacking security and some comfort. I arrived this evening only to find that despite the fan on the bedroom ceiling it was completely inoperable - there was no remote and it was not workable. The building managers - I use this term loosely after a previous phone call during the week to request phone numbers for airport transport have absolutely no commitment to customer service (so far experienced) 'outside business hours'. Seriously - consider staying somewhere else as I am completely disappointed given previous experiences at other properties in the area.

  Amazing Room, Friendly Owners

  My partner, a friend and myself stayed at Marriner Views for three nights over a Cheerleading Nationals weekend. Check in and out was simple. We were amazed at how amazing our room was! Very spacious and plenty of room! The kitchen was fully equipped, large fridge and plenty of bench space. Bedrooms had plenty of room and the bathrooms were nice aswell. Beautiful veiws! The owners were lovely and very helpful! We were able to get a late check out on our last day no problem. There is no aircon, although during the day the breeze coming through was lovely, and we didnt find it too hot in the rooms during the night. What was super busy and little stressful weekend was made much more enjoyable and definitely felt more like a holiday being in such an amazing apartment. Thank you!

  Nice but could have some improvement

  Overall we had a good stay at Marriner views apartments on the Gold Coast. Great location, private and secure parking and views of the beach with a private pool/spa/BBQ. Room was clean on presentation but lacked air conditioning and did get hot and uncomfortable on occasions. Fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and dryer all worked well. En-suite shower drain was blocked our whole stay so we all showered in the main shower instead. No fan in the lounge room but one in the dining area. Back sliding door also needed new rollers. Free Foxtel was a bonus. Cooking utensils and towels were provided. Overall we would stay here again but small minor things could be improved to make this place a 5 star.

  visit disappointing

  I was promised free wifi that i agreed to on my contract. They charge $15 per gb instead above 300mb per day I found kettle not working , lights out , phone not working, dishwasher not working on one cycle. management while nice did not provide me with the actual unit i would be staying in as per my request and i found myself on the third floor with little views looking over a construction zone that started at 6.3oam . No mention of this when i booked. Even though i communicated i wanted the unit shown in the photo. the biggest disagreement has been the inflated wi fi charges over a stay of two days , enough for one month!. and while i like the location i would not recommend this place

  Much better than expected.

  Exceptional service from Bernie and his wife : - Check-in was a breeze during the week-end; immediate assistance for everything, including in-house wifi connection code and TV channels (I am from Canada and not familiar with the Australian Netflix), requested household and kitchen items, fixing the patio door, everything. - They know Brisbane very well and are a precious source of accurate practical advise. Bernies sense of humour makes it feel home Lots of personalized attention. The condo: - It was so large, it felt like 2 condos in one. I got lost in it when still under jetlag. All the rooms have views, including the 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, the laundry room; it totals to a 360 degree view. I wore a cap indoor because the natural light in the appt was so strong as if I were outdoor. Incredible. - Coldish in September but the movable heater did wonder - Pillows you want to die for - Old furnishing style harmonized by the colour and warm general ambiance. Bernie, please hug your wife, I miss you both. Thanks for all your graceful hospitality.
