  Awesome place to be and explore from

  We stayed at Marlin Creek for almost a week exploring the southern side of Mauritius. We found the establishment easy to locate and central to explore from by assistance of GPS. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Kitchenette has all the basics you need to look after yourself, though no stove top, but a convection oven instead. The very friendly owners and staff even lit a BBQ fire for us to cook our delicious fresh fish. Wherever we wanted to go, what ever we needed to know, we were assisted in every way. The breakfast was delicious and interesting featuring a couple of different Mauritian traditional items daily that we enjoyed tremendously. Very tasteful cocktails at the fully stocked bar. Wonderful garden and swimming pool. Even a bicycle that you may borrow to ride around with. We had a rental car and were thus very independent, but still loved spending our evenings at Marlin Creek in the wonderful company of owners, staff and other guests. What a great place, we would definitely recommend anyone to stay there. We loved it.

  Excelente

  We have spent all our vacations in Mauritius here. The rooms are spacious and clean, it has everything you need including a small fridge, microwave and kettle. The swimmingpool is amazing. You can also order the dinner to take away. Good breakfast and wifi. Id recomend it 100% and we will come back to the same hotel if we visit the island again. Besides the facilities I must say that all the staff is excelent, friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Amaury and Cedric for making us feel like at home

  First time in Mauritius

  We stayed in Marlin Creek for few days and it was all perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful, helping us to book trips, or asking some questions about what to do or beaches to visit. Always there to help. Rooms are lovely, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. No doubt I would stay again there. We were very happy with everything.

  Fabulous, Great Room, Great Staff - Loved It

  We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved the place, big spaces rooms, with a simple but functional interior, loved the "open" shower room. Big comfortable beds, balconies surrounded by lovely gardens providing good shade. rooms with AC and fan, as well as a kitchenette. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is long thin and actually swimmable. It is slightly set back from the road so is quiet. Has on site parking. Great place.

  2 week holiday for two

  This is a lovely little spot to relax. The pool is very warm and the vibe is intimate. The restaurants are strung out along the road. The owner of the hotel offers lifts there but you either walk back in the dark or get a taxi. We walked both ways in every case but sometimes it was 30 minutes each way. That and the lack of a good local beach may put some people off but if you are prepared to walk a little you will find very nice beaches with nobody around. We also used the local buses to get around, good fun and cheap.
