  Amazing property and hospitality!

  Everything at this B&B was perfect. The couple running the place truly go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect for your stay. I especially enjoyed the exceptional breakfasts each morning that were complete with fresh fruit, home-ade granola, yogurt, tea, baked assortments along with a full plate of hot breakfast. They also made the best eggs benedict i've ever had! The hot tub in the back was another luxury that I managed to utilize each night of my stay and was a perfect ending to each day. The property of this house is astonishing with beautiful trees, a stream and amazing gardens. Best B&B I've ever been to!

  Listen up would be travelers! If your journey takes you through the mystical valleys of Sooke, then the Markham House has to be your number one choice. I know your practically drowning in options, but rest assured, this exquisite B and B will provide you not only with a relaxing stay in Sooke's beautiful natural environment, but will also satisfy your appetite with delicious locally prepared cuisine. Let the Markham House overwhelm you with its ponds, sculpted garden, romantic hot tub and best in class hospitality provided by Sandy and Lyle.   BEST PLACE I EVER STAYED

  Wow, this place is so nice, huge property, and great bedrooms, and the most comfortable beds ever, they also have a hot tub, outside so you can relax right next to the forest, THEN, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE OWNERS: SALLY AND LYLE, Two on the nicest people you will ever meet, the absolute best breakfasts, I have ever had, right from home made Scones, to the home made granola, to THE BEST I EVER HAD EGGS BENNY, free wi-fi, satellite tv, just GREAT, I RANK THIS PLACE AND THESE PEOPLE #1 PLACE TO STAY IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA, just that good!!!!!!

  Best accommodations ever!

  We stayed here for five nights and absolutely loved it. Beautiful room, great beds, spotlessly clean, character home. And the grounds were like something out of a picture book. To top that off the full hot breakfasts were fabulous. Bill was an amazing host who bent over backwards to make sure that our needs were taken care of. When the battery died on my car, he even lent me his truck and charged my battery! Thanks, Bill.

  Most accommodating B&B's i have ever stayed at!

  Markham house is located on 3 aces of perfectly landscaped and private property surrounded by giant west cost trees. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were by far the best i have ever had! I would strongly recommend Markham house. The reason for our trip was we were fishing and therefore had some extra needs. The owners of Markham house helped us a lot with our storage, processing needs. Thanks Bill and see you guys again soon!
