  Spacious room with great view

  Our visit to Simrishamn was in the first week of June, so it was before the summer tourist season. We spent three nights at the Maritim Krog & Hotell, and enjoyed it very much. Our room (Number 1) was up one flight. It was roomy, comfortable, and had several windows facing the harbor directly across the street. It even had a tiny balcony, but it was too cool to use it much. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast good. Our only surprise was that many of the restaurants in town (including the one at this hotel) were not regularly open. Apparently it gets busier in mid-June.

  Exceptional small hotel

  Exceptionally welcoming hosts, immaculate modern room, great location in harbor, exquisite restaurant, walking distance to train/bus station. Friendly staff. Wish I had stayed longer. Lots to see in this small town.

  nice, cosy hotel with modern rooms, direclty located near the water

  i had a spacoius room in the Konference Hotell (same owner, 50m away)...last titme i stayed directly in the maritim.....what shoudl i say: everything fine. nice rooms, good beds, fast internet, good breakfast, nice staff. the only "small" negative thing is: the cobblestone road (nearly all roads in the centre of Simrishamn are like that) creates some kind of noise when cars drive through. as i was there in winter and i´m generellay sleeping with closed windows it was not a problem for me.

  Business Travel

  This wouldn't be my first choice of hotel, but didn't have any problems with it. Directly opposite the port, room was large, nice views and comfortable. There is a honour bar on the first floor with Tea and Coffee, there was a door open and you could see other rooms. Although smaller than mine, looked modern and comfortable. Close to town centre. Also ate at the hotel. totally a fish restaurant unfortunately, and not particularly for me, but was very full so must have been popular.

  Good service and even better food

  The use of seasonal products make of every dish, a wonderful eating experience. Ask for the menu in English and order the fish in any form. A bit pricey but worth the money. Service is top notch as its the attention to detail. Highly recommended.
