  Nice stay

  Stayed at the hotel for 3 days 2 nights. They were able to accommodate us arriving early! The rooms were clean and nice. - there was breakfast available but we did not pay for it -the hotel is a way out of the city, we used Grab taxis to get into the city centre - concierge was nice and able to tell us where to go to get the most out of our stay - there interior design was simply spectacular!   Cautiuos if you want to stay here

  Hotel is inside housing area with massive jamming place...staff is helpless ...once the staff got complain by us then only want to approach to us. Their solving skill is so lousy..customer is not their priority....very dissapointed

  Bad Experience & Customer Service

  Having a layover in Bangkok for 2 nights, I decided to book this hotel, to stay far away from Bangkok crowd and not too far from International airport. The location is not adapted for travelers willing to visit Bangkok and join city center in a fast way. Consider a minimum of 40 min by Taxi to Sukhumvit area, when traffics is OK.200 - 250 Bhat rate. One hour to Kaosan Road. Anyhow there is a BTS stop quite close, I have not tested so cannot pronounce on required time to join Central Bangkok. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, not directly on Sukhumvit road, which can make it difficult to find for cab drivers. The rooms are spacious and clean, although there was some light dirts on linens, lets not be too picky. Always prefer pool view than street view if you have the opportunity to choose. Nevertheless I had an very bad experience at check out time. The reception crew asked me for an overcharge of 300 bhats because there was dirt on a towel. I am attaching picture so everyone can see what we are talking about. After 15 mins of talk where they called management (!!!) to ask confirmation of this, I finally decided to pay in order not to miss my plane. Impossible to have a talk with management afterwards by phone to report. We talk here not about money, but about principles and respect. An hotel has anyhow to cleans towels after use. Should the previous guest also prepare the bed for the next one, in an hotel of this category ? Crazy. In 15 years of intensive travels for work, with more than 200 nights / year in hotel rooms, this is the first time this happens to me. Although helpless, I am not complaining about the young reception crew that applied rules fixed to them. But this remains so far away from the reputed Thai hospitality that we appreciate so much. I do not recommend this place to my closest friends neither to my colleagues travelling for business or leasure, moving forward.

  A charmer!

  I stay in the Bang Na / Somrong area regularly and this is my first stay at the Marigold. What a charming hotel it is! Compared to the other local hotels in the area in same price range, The Marigold has exceeded my hopes and I will certainly and happily return. The rooms was large, clean and everything worked. Mine had a nice suburban view, the diminutive pool and the gym were there if I wanted them and the TV had a good range of English language channels. Breakfast started at 6am and despite the two tour groups that were staying, nothing ran out and there was good variety of food available. On top of this the hotel was nice, quiet and air conditioned. Located in a small and quiet soi, most taxis struggle to find the Marigold; in some ways thats a good thing. Open your maps app and show it to the driver. 99% are IT literate; it helps a lot. Located 500m from the Imperial World Mall and free shuttle every 30min to the BTS station at Somrong, getting anywhere is easy and doesnt take long. I celebrate my discovery of the Marigold Hotel and look forward to returning in the New Year. I happily and unreservedly recommend this property. My rating reflects value for money and product.

  Honest Housekeeping

  Hotel called the same morning after we checked out to let us know that they found a diamond ring in our room. We came back after 4 days up North to pick up our ring and stayed for a few more days before heading South. Everyone at this place is very pleasant, polite and honest, convenience location close to all in one shopping mall Imperial World, onsite laundry facility, clean room with warm shower, wifi, plus breakfast, close to Golden Land airport. We highly recommend.
