  Amazing Holiday

  Stayed at the Mariela for 2 weeks in October 2019, as always had a fabulous time. Pambos and Eleni are so welcoming and do all that they can to make you feel part of the family. Rooms are cleaned every day, except Sunday, and towels and bedding changed regularly. Looking forward to seeing you again later this year.

  Amazing time in a perfect place

  We stayed at the hotel twice for the last 4 months: 3 weeks in Nov 2019 and 30 days in Jan-Feb 2020. The hosts, Pambos and Eleni did everything to make our stay remarkable and spotless - whatever extras we needed (kitchen utensils, EU socket adaptors, etc.) were gladly given in no time. The studio room was spacious and warm even in winter period, hot water was available 24 hours, cleaning was daily and efficient. The hotel area was clean and well-planned, dedicated parking space was also a plus. Mariela hotel is a perfect place for family holiday, with hospitable, welcoming and ready-to-help hosts, and a joyful and relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!!!!

  A quiet trip

  We were unsure about going on this trip but are glad we did. This was our 3rd trip to the Mariela. We spent most of our days lazing round the pool. This had been improved with better filter system and the bottom of the larger pool had been levelled out a bit and I could stand at the deep end. We had a 1-bed apartment this time with a kitchenette although we only used the kettle and fridge there was also a toaster and double hotplate with a small oven. The room and the rest of the hotel were kept clean, I saw the cleaner wiped down all the sunbeds and outside tables every morning and Pambos cleaned the pool. Pambos and Eleni, the owners, did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. On our last evening they did a complementary barbecue for us and 3 other returning customers as a thank you, we had met 2 of the couples before on our previous visits. A very enjoyable last evening. It was a bit sad to see the hotel and town so quiet. We will be back next year when hopefully things may be more "normal"

  A True Example of Excellent Hospitality

  My partner and I stayed at this wonderful venue from late September to early October. Our apartment with a pool view from the balcony was top class. It contained everything necessary for a quality self catering holiday. The bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed and good storage. Easily a 5 star apartment. The pools and outside areas were well kept and surrounded with beautiful pottted plants and wel established trees and shrubbery. A delightful daily treat for us. 5 stars all day long. The complex is 5 minutes walk from a really good supermarket and 10 minutes from the Polis Square which offers a great choice of cafes, restaurants and bars. The service and hospitality was special. The owners Pambos and Eleni and staff created a wonderful environment for a truly memorable holiday. We can't wait to return to this wonderful venue.

  Great hospitality

  I was greeted with a drink from the bar upon arrival. I stayed in mid October in a large studio with a sizeable balcony overlooking the beautifully well kept pools and grounds. The main room of the studio I stayed in was a little dated and would benefit from a little tlc. I was initially missing a few items from the galley kitchen area and when this was brought to Pambos and Eleni's attention it was put right immediately. The studio was very clean and functional with a comfortable bed. The main 'square' area with its many tavernas and bars is about a five minute stroll and the huge supermarket, to the right as you exit the front door, is also about a five minute walk. A bakery stocking all sorts of tasty goodies and milk is about two minutes walk to the right and through the petrol station. The nearest ATM is across the road. The camp site beach and bar is a twenty minute stroll away. The beach is mainly sandy with lovely warm and clear sea. I would stay at the Mariela again if/when visiting Polis, a quiet resort where you can wind down and relax. I would just add that I was well looked after by Jet2 all the way from start to finish.
