  Beautiful views

  Have to say we are very pleased with apartment BUT we do know the area well and know THE HILL it is NOT for the shall we say unused to walking or older people and this MUST be made more aware to people before they book! Thomas Cook reps are conspicuous by there absence having seen a couple of people who quite planley should never have been sold these apartments especially as both booked through travel agents! Having said this apartments are clean and maid service is fantastic pool clean and quiet but be aware there is no bar and no shops near by.

  A very enjoyable stay

  Went with a group and we took five studios. Excellent value. Excellent views, clean and well laid out accommodation. We booked with Thomas Cook but unfortunately there was no one there to meet us when we arrived and though keys were in the doors it took us some time to work out where everything was. The following morning the cleaner who spoke English was very helpful but we saw little or nothing of the rep. Though it is on a hill the accommodation is fairly close to many good restaurants and shops. You can always catch a taxi up but this best done in small groups as the standard cost appears to be 5 euros

  Beautiful views

  Myself my husband and 2 friends stayed at Maria's garden villas on the 16th of may 2017 for a week ,when we got off the transport from the airport we was greeted by the cleaning ladies mother and daughter very friendly and very helpful we found the place to be spotless and comfortable we had a two room apartment first floor with beautiful views , the pool was clean and well kept , the beds were very comfortable , but could do with some new bedding not that it spoilt my sleep , we did walk down the hill a few times but mainly got taxes back up not for people that have trouble with walking it was very steep but beautiful views , if you spend over 20 in the local shop they give you a taxi ride back up , Costa Costa beach is just up the road it looks more like Jamaica than Greece , can not wait to go back , we got talking to an old couple that said there'd been returning for 25 years and you can understand why once you've been their

  Comfort, peace and panoramas

  Booked at short notice and lucky enough to be met with beautiful sunny weather for almost two weeks in September, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Villa A2 of Maria's Garden Villas. The studio apartment was ideal for us in many ways, with a very comfortable bed, modern and clean bathroom facilities and the perfect balcony to soak up the sun and the views at breakfast-time, lunch or dinner as we wished. We were well taken care of by the management of the Dionysos resort just across the olive groves, with free transfers to and from the airport. We also enjoyed the free access to facilities at Dionysos and can recommend their restaurant. The villa had fabulous views and was extremely well serviced by the friendly and efficient staff, who made our bed, cleaned the studio and changed our towels every single day of our stay. We also had great swims in the pool just a few yards from the villa, perfect for cooling off after a hot day out in Argostoli, Lassi or in other parts of the island. Kefalonia was very welcoming and we had a great time mixing relaxing days with culture, cuisine and snorkelling and adventurous trips into the mountains and more distant coastal resorts. Some guestss may be a little inconvenienced by the scarce equipment in the kitchenette but it didn't affect our stay much at all, as we shopped when we wanted and dined out a lot. Visitors should take note that access on foot requires an energetic climb up the hill fro Lassi (about 12 minutes on average) but local supermarkets may help with free taxi lift if you spend enough. Access to the beaches is easy and the walk to Argostoli can be achieved in about 30 minutes via Lassi or over the hill.

  Have seen better......

  Apartments are super basic. Not like on the fotos on the website. Also received information is very basic. View is excelente and also garden is very nice Nothing of any información available in the room like activities or other tourist information. Walk trail to Dionysos resort is approx 10 min or 5 min car dive, if you like to make use of the breakfast option. Also breakfast is basic. 6,-pp. We have seen better price/quality on the Ionic islands.
