  Nice hotel

  We stayed with two couples and two singles for a ski trip. Nice small hotel with good food. Small bar that is not so special. If you want to have a nice drink with (live)music you have to go out. Rooms are clean and spacious with balcony and a nice view. Very clean hotel. You can ski to the door of the hotel and park outside the hotel. The skilift is 10 minutes walk or you take the bus in front of the hotel. Next door is the skischool for kidz. The owner Franz is very nice. I think the hotel is good for couples.

  Friendly hotel

  Hotel is next to hotel Platzer. Right next to shutle bus stop and best apres ski bar in village GIN GIN. Hotle is very nice and friendly, its family bussines. Hotel si clean and has really good breakfast and lunch. Many great and quality foods and drinks. Wines are little bit expensive. One minus is that hotel havent a swimming pool like Platzer and much moore surroundings hotels, but has grea attitude and good prices. Gerlos is very good place for skiing and zillertal arena is one of the biggest and greatest in austria. I recoend it for middle age couples or older couples or romantic its not for young and singles people looking for fun. Its simply nice hotel.

  Excellent for Family Ski trip

  Maria Theresia is an Austrian classic. I've been visiting this family friendly hotel since literally my childhood. After years, we've returned for a family reunion ski trip. Maria Theresia is an very well run hotel. It's ambiance is typically Austrian which is enormously cosy during the winter months. The staff (same family running it for years) is absolutely friendly towards their guest. Their super friendly but also give you privacy at the right moments. Recently they made a new sauna in de basement which is excellent! Besides that they have a small play-room for the kids and an ski-storing basement. When you book half or full board: be prepared for great food each time you go for dinner! Maybe best part: the hotel is located just of the main road which makes it nice a quiet (which can be a lot different in Gerlos) Also great: ski-bus stops right in front of the hotel, you can easily walk to the nearest ski lift. Maria Theresia is a great choice for a relaxed and well serviced holiday.

  Nice stay at Gerlos in this good hotel.

  This hotel -with very kind staff- is perfect located for hiking. Our room was nice (and always clean) with a balcony. The food was price/quality very good. The hotel has a nice Spa. With no swimming pool, but hey... price/quality more than you need. Free parking and "Guestcards"(Free bus Zillertal and Cablebann)

  We had a fantastic time!

  My wife and I came across this really nice hotel in Gerlos on the Internet more ore less accidentally. And in fact, we have not been disappointed about our choice at all. We stayed there for eight nights. Neatly, spacious and comfortable guest rooms as well as the dining and seating area, excellent varied meals within our half board booking and the friendly and warm atmosphere of the host family were just great. Not to forget the professional and most helpful hints of the host about hiking tours, always keeping our own pace in mind and by this literally sophisticatedly contributing to developing and increasing our joy in hiking day by day. Well definitely come back next year, hopefully being able to stay for even longer then.
