  Maria Motel is a very nice place to stay & relax.

  Maria Motel has self contained accommodation, the motel has very clean comfortable rooms & the outdoor area has the loveliest gardens. The Manager & staff are all friendly & helpful, plus the Motel is near The Artesian Spas & Swimming Complex.

  This is an older motel, basic but it has everything, even a proper sink. You could prepare simple meals in the room if required as a range of appliances are provided. There are inside and outside tables and chairs. There was a friendly check in. We had an undercover park, but some are in the open. Wifi wouldn't connect (we tried 3 devices) and were told Androids have problems. There is a security gate at night. For the price this was a good place to stay.

  Beautiful family motel room, extremely accommodating staff!

  We stayed in the family room (2 couples and 2 babies) and only arrived late evening due to flooded roads on our travels but the lady we spoke to was extremely accommodating and made our room available to us after hours. As well as turning down our beds and making our very short stop extremely comfortable and easy, the room was beautiful and cosy with modern touches. Catered to us very well and wished we could spend more than just our sleepover there. Highly recommend to anyone passing by for a short or long time, thank you!!

  Great place

  The motel itself is the closest to the Aquatic Centre, and there is a pub within a hundred yards that sells decent food. The rooms and grounds of the motel were clean, though it felt a little ramshackled and quite close together. The rooms were a decent size and had tv, air con, microwave, kettle, fridge and a hot plate so you can cook basic meals. There is also a communal bbq that was spotless, and a larger indoor communal kitchen that was a little less spotless but still fine. There are tables and chairs in a small garden where you could sit and relax in the evening. Management were super friendly and helpful. As an aside, there is a local soft drink manufacturer diagonally across the road, so you can pick up a local creaming soda or cola. Pros: Almost everything. Cons: the motel grounds are quite compact. I was told the area is a little unsavoury at night, but it was nice during the day. Overall, I'd stay there again without hesitation.

  Walk to aquatic centre and train station

  Great place to stay in Moree, especially if youre visiting the artesian aquatic centre and using the regional train service (within 5 minutes easy walk). Lani and her team are very friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable in a quiet environment, with the only noises being general family chatter and the odd cry of a magpie. Many magpies in Moree! Security gates locked overnight. Town centre is a decent 20 minute walk away, Chinese resto across the road open weekdays Room was clean and adequate for our needs. Cant go wrong staying at Maria Motel!
