    Basic, Clean, Convenient, Welcoming with Great view

    Meralina Villas are basic, clean, and welcoming. It is on the sea front overlooking the harbour with parking in front. It is very convenient to the village amenities, shops. restaurants etc. If you are looking for a pleasant quiet holiday then it is for you.

    Excellent stay at Marelina apartments

    We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Panormos. (22/5-6/6/18).The apartment (111) was first class. Clean, Comfortable, and about 70 yards from the sea. This apartment is for HPB guests, and I am assuming the others are similar. There is a small plunge pool and enough loungers and brollies for shade. Yannis, Athena, and Ilini were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. For us, just strolling and relaxing is all we need. The weather was perfect. Plenty of restaurants for good food at reasonable prices

    Marvelous Marelina

    Never been on an apartment holiday before usually book 4* plus hotels) Marelina villas has changed all that. Will definitely be going back. The accommodation is almost on the beach.The apartments are more than adequate with lounge/dinning area, large bathroom with shower and good sized bedroom. There was a friendly welcome by all staff who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good holiday (very generous hospitable staff). The pool is small but perfectly adequate. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. Breakfast is of good quality (especially the poached eggs all with dark yellow yolks cooked to perfection every day) and there is plenty of choice and as much as you want. The location is a short stroll from 3 beaches and the pretty traditional village of Ponormos which comes alive in the evening with the Tavernas and bar serving good quality food with excellent service until late. Ideal for families or couples of any age. Definitely recommend for a relaxing enjoyable experience.

    A blissful 2 weeks

    Location overlooking the beach is ideal and the village of Panormos is heavenly but what makes this place particularly special is the couple who provide such outstanding hospitality. Athina and Michaelis are so welcoming and kind that they made our stay here so very special. We booked through HPB and met several other Bondholders here but it is not exclusive to HPB. if you are looking for a pleasant self-catering holiday in a quiet part of Crete, but with plenty of great tavernas within a few hundred yards, this is the perfect place to stay.

    A great little gen

    We have just returned from two weeks staying at the Marelina Villas, and we had a fantastic time. The staff (Michalos and Athena especially) made us feel so welcome and like nothing was too much trouble-also Michalos makes an amazing mojito! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice every day, Athena offered to make more if anything was low and was always so lovely and friendly to us and all the other guests. The apartment was plenty big enough for our family or four (my sister and her family of four had the apartment next door) and it had all of the amenities we needed for two weeks. The cleaners came in each day which was a surprise and helped us truly relax. The pool area was very nice and enough loungers for all, we especially liked the box of childrens buckets, spades, flippers, balls and water guns which meant we didnt have to spend lots on those items, we simply borrowed them and returned them each day (another nice touch). During our stay they held a Cretian night with a bbq and traditional dancers which was fantastic-the food was incredible and we had great fun dancing altogether. Both adults and children had a memorable night which we will talk about for years. We will definitely return.
