Very friendly, even if closed in winter

We were travelling by bicycles along the see-shore to the south of Rome this winter, in February. There is not much of the camping in low season in Italy. But this one was half-closed, as the staff was maintaining some new communication, or water-pipe. They invited us to stay for a night for gratis. Thank you very much!

Amazing family vacation in the woods by the sea!

Being first-time-campers and especially with young children, i would describe our 12-days summer vacation as just great! First to be said, the award for the Best Hospitality of the Year goes to the staff of the MarePineta Camping and especially to the Manager and the Reservation Team. We had rent a 4-bed bungalow and were lucky to have both the kitchenette and the bathroom inside it and not outside as seen in many photos. Below my personal opinion considering the most important sides of the camping MarePineta. * Camping structure per se: No words. Just perfect. Very clean, recycling bins everywhere, animation for both kids and adults, restaurant-bar, mini-market, two playgrounds, baths/toiletts etc. * Restaurant/Bar/MiniMarket: Run by a very friendly family. The food is very tasty and the prices are low. Just to mention, the employees (except for the Pizza-Baker) speak only Italian. Of course, if using a translator (app) there will be no problem at all. For lunch can be served only spaggetti in different versions. Pizzas are available only for supper. (For the ones who want Pizza for lunch, there are Pizzarias in the village 400m away from camping). Also there are fresh donuts, croissants and brioche every morning. The mini market has everything needed for the stay apart from towels and beach toys. *Animation: every morning at 11:30 and every evening at 21:30 there was a 20' animation called Baby Dance. Really fascinating for the small ones. At 12:00 and at 22:00 there was animation for children older than 12yo and adults with different games and themes. From 23:30 till midnight there was line dancing for everybody. *Beach: Amazing! Warm, sandy and pure. Exactly at the end of the camping i.e 100m from the center of it. My suggestion is to book the holidays including umbrellas with sunbeds, which are numbered. You will get one number and will use the same for your whole stay. They are very comfortable and with sunshadow. All the campers, including us, left our beach toys at the beach between the sunbeds. No need to carry them every time back to the camping. There was absolutely no fear of them being stolen. Some tipps of mine: - there are sheets on the beds upon arrival but will not be changed. You can though wash them when needed in one of the washing mashines located inside the camping. Also there are no towels. Our solution was to buy 2 pairs of them from the market located in the village. For 4 towels we had paid 10 Euros. - the music (especially in the night) is too loud because of the animation. If you wish to go early in bed (before midnight), just ask for a bungalow/tent not so close to the bar. Otherwise it is a great choice to be right next to it, as there is also located the playground. - do not expect for the employees apart from the reception and the pizza baker to speak english. This camping as all the others in the region are made mostly for the locals and thus there is no need (?) for them to learn another language and that makes some sense. You can save your time by downloading a (voice) translation app. -the village is located approx. 400m away from the camping (5' walking). The sidewalks are full with restaurants, beach/souvenirs markets and stores. -if you are a German, ask to talk to Bruno (employee). He is the one and only who speaks German and is really polite and helpful. He was the one to help us to make a car reservation. Long story short, we were excited and more than satisfied with our stay at MarePineta Camping and definitely will come back in the next years! Special thanks to Claudio, Errico, Bruno, Mario, Seni and all the lovely staff of MarePineta!!

    Family Holidays

We highly recommend you this camping, our holidays were great, the staff and the manager are awesome they were always avialable for anything we needed. They have a club for the kids with a lot of different activities, the kids really had fun .You can access to the beach directly from the camping, you have a restaurant and a small supermarket if you need to buy anything. We rented a bungalow .Everything is really clean and secured. You are not far from the ruins of Paestum who is a great place to visit. The people around us in the camping were really friendly despite the fact that we didn't speak a very good italian, we really had a lot of fun and we will definitely come back soon.
