  the hotel was sold to TUI and JET 2 holidays as a 4 star upon arrival was told it was a three star ? a very poor 3 star

  Arrived to a 4 start to be told it is now a 3 star ? no internet for two weeks apart from one afternoon ? food was basic and poor cold food served many guests upset stomach and sickness ? drinks watered down no cocktails included in the price ? pool dirty mildew in the pool not cleaned on a daily basis ? rooms were clean maid service very good due to the Thomas Cook collapse paying guests have been put at risk with the poor substandard food we arrived 30/09/2019 for two weeks ? no entertainment all been cancelled , many guests were not happy with the service they were given when attending the reception to make a complaint about the food and facilities teh reception just shrugged their shoulders . As a family we booked this holiday in 2018 as a 4 star as it was down graded to a 3 star we should have been told , food that was served the day before was put out the following day ? the food was always cold during our two week stay as a family we had to eat out most nights as the only poor food offered at the resort was boiled chicken legs or turkey and the next day put in a different sauce . I am making a formal complaint to the travel company regarding this resort . during our stay staff who worked at the resort were sacked and they were not happy at the way they were being treated this affected the holiday makers at the resort .

  hotel in great location. Staff very friendly. rooms in desperate need of some work, rooms damp, and fixtures need fixing. Stayed here 2 yrs ago and was really good but this time the food was below standard,very poor. We ate out most of the time.

  Good value hotel, best location

  Very good hotel, quite, clean and is very good placed in the heart of Oludeniz. Food was amazing, very tasty and various. Pizza at snack bar also are also amazing. No english breakfast, turkish one are better :)) Rooms is not very big but was ok and cleaned every day. Hotel staff speak English and was very nice. Many thanks to our frinds Genghis, Artan and Chief Duran. We can't wait to come back next year.

  Stayed here june from recommendation from friends

  Our friends had holiday'd here for several years Sorry Its got to be said its gone right down the pan . Bar drinks very limited even on the local brewis food was terrible the gang of us thats 8 people gave up and ate breakfast and evening meals at Sultans on the strip the got 10 out of 10 This is out of our Holiday spots for us all

  Great location, shame about the entertainment.

  Our first family holiday to Turkey and was not disappointed with beautiful Oludeniz. The Marcan Beach hotel is a fairly small all inclusive hotel, only a few minutes walk from the beach. We arrived at 3am very hungry & thirsty, we were shown to our room which was boiling hot but did have a fridge with two bottles of water. Note that the Air-con needs to be set at 28 to get the coolest temp. The food is pretty average, plenty on offer but we did tend to eat salad and chips every evening. However, the best thing were the freshly cooked pizzas every afternoon made by Mustafer, they were delicious! The bar was pretty rubbish, one type of beer and a few spirits on offer...most were on the top shelf and we had to pay if we wanted those. The pool area is nice though and the place is spotlessly clean, our little cleaning lady cleaned the room daily and always left plenty of fresh towels. Unfortunately, the worst part was the entertainment...there was one guy, Emre. If you like Sweet Caroline & Take me home country road youll enjoy it, its played over & over, every single day. He organised two games of water polo & bingo the whole time we were there. We actually won a game of bingo, he promised us perfume, a handbag, a family photoshoot with 2 printed photographs, free cocktails & a taxi to a local club with 6 free shots! He turned up a week later on the day we were leaving, and gave us a tatty dirty bag & turned up with a photographer who had to take a picture of us in the pool because all we had was our swimsuits and travelling clothes. He did email me 2 pics though. Other tourists said it wasnt unusual, he kept the winnings to fund his own nights out. I know they dont earn a lot and we did tip everyone who deserved it. Id like to mention Hakan, the receptionist, he was always very friendly and chatty. They did cut our all inclusive bands off when handing the key in, we were not allowed to eat or drink at the Marcan the whole last day and werent getting collected until 9pm. They did try to charge me £25 per person to keep the bands until 5pm which would have equalled £75 for 3 pizzas & a couple of glasses of pop, I was disgusted at that. I was with my two children, and had a 8 day holiday but only 6 days all inclusive. Great bars and shops on the strip, lovely beach and plenty to do. I would definitely return to Oludeniz but maybe try a hotel that has entertainment.
