Pleasant experienceMy family and I live in Jacksonville and stayed here for two nights while our A/C was being repaired. It is close to our house so we chose it for location, not reading any reviews. I have to say, I was shocked to read all the negative reviews after staying there. Maybe they got new management, or maybe the stars just aligned for us because we had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and quiet, my kids enjoyed the pool, the rate was reasonable and every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. My coffee pot didnt work on the first morning. I told the desk clerk on my way out and it was fixed immediately. This is not a large hotel chain so they do have things that are a little different: only two pillows on the bed, bottles of hand and body soap attached to the wall as opposed to the bars...so what? The restaurant was still closed when we stayed but were told they had just rehired a chef to get it back open. Regardless, there are several restaurants within a one block radius and we used Uber Eats. The one negative I will say is that they dont offer a breakfast, not even granola bars or fruit. They didnt have many guest when we stayed so maybe thats why they didnt bother. I think its important to offer something to your guest though. All in all, I would stay here again if the need arises and will be recommending it to my family when they come to visit.

Okay, but just okay, MAYBE...Found the property to be over-priced for the facilities offered. Was not worth the high cost of staying there. Perhaps it was because of the Labor Day week-end, or because utility crews were staying in the area to assist with potential damage from hurricane Dorian. Anyway, the owners should consider modernizing what must have been a beautiful hotel just a short while ago. (The hotel is only 6 years old, I believe).

Overpriced.A bad experience started before I even arrived. The day after I booked the room through Expedia, I got a call from the Hotel that Expedia advertised the wrong price for one night and that it will be an additional $40. Instead of them biting the bullet on this or asking Expedia to correct their mistake, I was stuck with paying the difference. On the night that I arrived, after checking in, I get to my room to see that the door had been left open, which was unsettling not knowing if someone had mistaken their room and if I was about to walk in on someone, or if I was given the wrong room information. Ended up the room was empty, but its not how you want to arrive to it. The following morning when I went to shower, I found a used dirty towel in the bath tub. In addition there was not toilet paper holder for your restroom needs and the cord for the window blinds was broken. The only positive comment I have to say is that the hotel was a convenient location for my needs, otherwise I'm glad that I wasn't staying any longer than 2 nights.

UntruthfulMy brother stayed at the Marble Waters at the end of March. He is a diabetic and his sugar levels will drop quickly often leaving him unconscious. He had an event on one of the nights he stayed there. The staff called 911 and he was taken to the hospital. During his hospital stay we realized that his cell phone and glasses were missing. Two trips were made to the hotel looking for them, both times the staff told us there was nothing in the room. I called The hotel and spoke to a young man that remembered my brother. He offered to look again in the room. Imagine my surprise when he returned to report that he found the glasses. The iPhone was not found. I am Convinced that the phone was taken by the cleaning staff. I would Not recommend this hotel.

Find somewhere elseThis hotel is just on the edge of being nice but needs a lot of work. For the price you would expect toiletries in the bathroom you would expect the jacuzzi tub to be free and there should be breakfast and coffee in the lobby. I stayed at Hampton Inn in Winter Haven the last two nights and they had a bag breakfast and coffee so they can do something even with the covid-19 restrictions. Also the gentleman that I made my reservations with straight-up lied to me and told me they only had two rooms left, when I got here the parking lot was almost empty so there are very few customers this night. I will find another hotel to stay in in the next time I am in Jacksonville. I will give them credit that the gentleman working the desk when I checked in was very accommodating
