London lads14 of us on a football club tour weekend stayed here recently. Rooms are simple, beds decent and showers work very well. Keith the owner is a legend! From the moment we arrived he couldn't have been more accomodating or welcoming. He was on hand 24 hours a day to book taxis, provide any information and even putting one of the lads to bed when he returned in the middle of the night in a drunken mess. Keith, we don't know your surname but we want to make you honorary club president for Hornsey & Highgate FC. Get in touch!

Worth the price! We came for an overnight stay whilst we went to a festival. The hotel wasn't too far from the city center and was in a nice area. Staff and especially hotel manager, Keith, was very charasmatic and very helpful when we had a problem! There is tea and coffee and other drinks as stated, but is in reception. A little run down but what do you expect for £25? Would recommend for a couple of nights, as long as intention isn't for an amazing hotel. Well worth £25 a night!! Had a great stay!

TattyIf people pay 20 quid, then fair enough I suppose, but I was done 60 quid through Expedia. Not the hotel's fault, but locking us out at 11.30pm and waiting ages to get someone to answer the door was. Quite noisy as the whole place is tiled (where the vinyl isn't coming up)....but there is probably a good reason for that if you google what happened a few years ago ! Not the best, but if this is 29th out of 70 odd in Liverpol, I'd dread to think what the bottom 30 must be like.

OK for overnightIts basic, no carpets, in need of a bit of TLC. However, the beds are comfy & shower powerful. TV in room too but its not a place to relax in too much. We were greeted on our return with a bottle of water & its help yourself tea & coffee from reception in the morning.

Would not stay here againI was unsure of whether to write a review or not. The reason being is because the place is in serious need of renovations, should not be open to the public. However the lady at reception, Amanda was a gem. She did the extra mile for me: booking places, changing rooms if needed and being just lovely. But I cannot recommend anyone to stay here :-(
